| Bigfoot is just a cave man Geico let loose a few years back, because he wasn't good enough for their commercials. |

If I happened to be carrying my rifle and one of these creatures came at me in a threatening way I'd shoot to kill. (headshot) Would not want to maim something that large. There have been reports of people shooting these huge hominid-like creatures, but they prove hard to kill and always run off wounded, like Deer do sometimes after being shot.
If in a non threatening situation I'd let the creature pass on by. |

Serious: Wow, you can tell how many experienced hunters and/or animal handlers answered this one.
If you're gonna shoot, always shoot to kill. Nothing worse than playing CIA Waterboarder with the wildlife, and it could always turn on you and reduce you to a bloody pulp.
Half serious: On the Intelligent Animal thing...before you eat that next slice of bacon or Sausage McMuffin, consider that PIGS are much more intelligent than dogs, are cute, playful and like to toss pebbles at you. Just don't fall in the trough at feeding time, they like fresh meat.
For Bloo's poll: Nah, I wouldn't shoot him, I figure with the paparazzi he's got all he can handle already.
I forgot who posted this, but:

Not 35 years ago, but 25 for sure, in case you missed the Bigfoot episode of In Search Of, when the film analyst is yakking about pendular breasts.
Non-serious: Of course I wouldn't shoot him. We Martians spent a great deal of time camouflaging our spies to resemble Linda Ronstadt.

Let it live another day
Bloo,
How come we haven't found dead bodies of Bigfoot in the wilderness "hot-spots" yet? You think SOMEONE would find that by now, right? That thing has to die (or multiple beings) someday. |

If I knew the answer to that question, I'd be able to answer it.
Seriously tho... There must be a few theories floating around about why we have never found any bigfoot carcasses. The theories probably look something like this:
- Their mother ship retrieves the dead.
- Bigfoot has eternal life.
- They bury their dead.
- They don't exist.

same reason we don't find bodies of deceased bears in the wilderness.

No, but I would trade a Snickers Bar for him/her to carry me atop his/her shoulders
along side an Interstate Highway or back into town.
Since my experience near the West Virginia Border I've read up alot on these creatures and recall reading a good few accounts of humans shooting at these manlike Crypto-Primates, but never getting in a kill-shot thus bringing one down on the spot.
Tranq-Dart loaded up with a triple dose of demirol perhaps - just kidding, I'd let this Creature pass unmolested as I believe they are Spirit Beings. |

Wood Mice, and other rodents gnaw bones, horn and antler down to nothing, and that's after carrion eaters have spread pieces of the remains over a distance of wild country seldom visted by man. |

I don't know. Winging some 8' tall, 700 lb wild hominid would not be like James Arness as Mat Dillon getting the upperhand on a drunken gunwaving cowpoke by shooting him in the shoulder.
Would you wing a Bear if it was coming at you in a fury ?
BiggyFoot would grab you with it's good arm and beat your body into ground chuck against a tree trunk or rock outcropping. |
