I have been interested in Aircraft all of my life as well, I don't have very much experience flying. What little experience I do have was because my father was a pilot. When he and I where still speaking he took me on a small cessna, can't remember specific model though, and after take of he let me take over for a couple minutes. I have flew numeras times, but only actually had control 2 times.
I have planns of becoming a pilot and joining the Air Force... Unfortunatly the Canadain air force is suffiently lacking in funding for any new planes.
I think the key to space travel has to do with time, or slipping between demensional plains maybe. I have a couple of theories on this. |

SRO, it sounds like you and your Dad had a pretty memorable time flying togather. Hate to hear you are not talking.
Maybe a good Fathers Day present coming up in June, would be to spring for the Cessna rental, and go up flying togather again. |

ya, maybe... I don't know though, we had a pretty conclusive fallout. I don't know if he would ever look at me the same again. I dare say I will try again sooner or later, which now that I think would be more logical to be sooner.
Kind of a touche' subject. |

| I'm sorry SRO that you & your dad don't get along. My dad died in 1990.I'd give anything to talk to him about what's going on in my life right now. I would love to see him with his 3 great grandchildren. If he were alive he'd be 86 in 2 days. I miss him. You should do whatever you can to make amends with him. Life is too short for petty differences. My dad jumped into Normandy on D-Day in 1944 with the 101st & I served with the 101st 25 yrs later. He was always interested in aviation too, but I don't think that he ever flew, outside of his military training. I've always looked for any opportunity to fly. You should try to fly with your dad again! |

Thank you Greeney, and Bgak. I didn't intend to find help with anything here, Im to used to Billy I guess. I didn't mean to bring my personal life into it, but now, Im sort of glad it came up. Thanx
Very sorry about your father Bgak. I hardly know the pain of a lost one. I hope the last words the two of you shared where happy ones, and if not, don't fret. I don't know you and your fathers relationship personally, but I find in most cases even if they are fighting, they still care for each other. Im horrible at consoling, so forgive me. |

Hello SRG, and Everyone: Sorry to hear about your Father. I know the feeliing. My Dad and I don't reall talk too much either. He kind of pretends most of the time like my Sister and I don't exist. I just have to lump it for the most part. Hope you are able to make peace with your Father. Deep down, I have with mine. Someday it will all work out I guess.

Hmm, looking back at these posts made by me years ago and still I haven't spoken a word to him nor him to I.
This was a long time ago, you must have been browsing the section eh? Have an interest in flight? I have to say, now that I have a bit more flight time under me that it is definitely the most fun I could ask for in a career. |

Hi there: Greeney2, Bgak, SRG and All: I've been doing alot of research on Military Aircraft. I found a great webstie latley. It's under "Free Aircraft Clipart Photos and Images" They have regular aircraft and Military. I keep connecting the SR-71 epseically to the E.T. technology. Interesting Greeney2 that you mentioned titanium and certain canopy's.
I went back to re-read this and it's really got alot of synchronicities and significance. Espeically what Greeny and Bgak are saying. I feel too that Roswell is very real and did indeed happen. What the people from the 1945 are saying is true. Must of been hard to just "cover that up" when our Government warned those people not to talk about it.
I know that the truth is and will keep coming out. There's alot more going on that meets the eye

| Please excuse this I don't mean to be rude, but for science sake I thought this needed a slight correction. Titanium is not an alloy, its actually an elemental metal atomic number 22 in fact. I believe my fellow boarder made a slight error in syntax and the alloy in question he was referring to was probably one of the various Titanium alloys used in space industry. I'm guessing a Titanium 6.4 (Titanium, Aluminum, and Vandium) from what little I've read on the subject. Please feel free to correct me on that. |

Hello Aquatank and All: Thanks for the correction! I'm sure it was needed.
