Hello Everyone! I found a great image. I've always wondered about this. All the times while I grew up with the gliders and flying. I KNOW that the "cloud" or "lenticulars" are UFO related! I've seen quite a few over the years. My Grandpa used to take excellent photos before he passed. As I mentioned he's was an excellent Pilot!
This photo is really cool!! Thought I'd pass it on!

Lenticular clouds are a good sign for glider pilots, as well as a warning about possible severe clear air turbulence.
The gliders are Czech regestered. I would'nt think there is an abubdance of lenticular cloud conditions in that country. They are generally present over high mountains being passed over by high winds, if I recall correctly.
I cannot see any UFO connection here.  |

Hello EJToner and Greeney2 and Everyone: Thankyou, I really enjoy looking at lenticulars they are very pretty and the shape remindes me of UFO's I feel that's that connection to the Ufo's and lenticulars they look similar in some ways. Waves are similar they can be long and very bumpy until you get ontop they are smooth as glass! I flew with my insructer at the time in a two-place K-13 glider through a wave. I also did some ridge flying that's tripy!!
Maybe the clouds are hiding something interesting, eh? Thanks for your input EJToner! Interesting
