And this guy is preaching his "jihad" and hate to, as the video says, over 40 of the top Mosques in the UK.
Why do people (always on the same side of the political and religious spectrum) continue to diminish and downplay the significance of Orthodox Islam? |

Interesting, since I didn't criticize anyone in this thread, or even offer a comment about it. I just posted videos that show Islam by the actions of Muslims and their own words. I'll leave it to others to make up their minds what Islam is all about. |

With few exceptions, most likely among the pygmy populations, there has never truly been a religion of peace on this planet. Nearly everyone of them has engaed in at least one of the following: warfare, bigotry, slavery, classism, dominance, human sacrifice. And if the religious powers weren'y in engaged in those bad behavoirs the populaces they influenced and were influenced by were.
Isn't about time humanity stripped out all the bad stuff in their lives, relions, and politics and got ariound to actually working for peace without warfare. I'll tell you truthfully, if the right section of the populace at the right numbers goes on strike where they just stay at home and don't shop for a couple of months (and keep the capacity to do so for more than a year this world's governements will come crashing to their knees as their economies to the true powers of the world, the workers and real democracy. |

| I have never seen words of bigotry or hate in any Christian church I;ve ever been in or attented. I;ve had many arguements here about womens rights in Islam only to be countered with a barage of rediculas pedifile priest stories. I've had many arguements about the oppression within the Muslims in the middle east especially. Governments of the middle east are dominated by islamic fundementalists who sponser terror. The kind of things I see in the video are pretty convincing the message of hate is taught within their religion. I've challenged anyone to show anything remotely close to this coming from Christian religions, and recieved arguements dating back 1000 years, but nothing in this era. |

How long is this era Greeney2? Curious because I can dig up plenty in the 20th century, it probably take longer through the short part of 21st century though. Bigotry is the easiest one to find followed by dominence, getting church/minister advocated warfare (hard to get funded countrys no longer have that kind of solidarity generally) gets a bit trickier.
Yeah I know the Neo Pagans go on and on about the Burning Times (100s of years back), generally the late stuff. But thats them claiming pseudo history, real violent pagan history (not neo-pagan history) still happens today with killings over penis theft spells and such. 'Witch Hysteria' still grips lesser developed nations world wide and not all that violence is Christian in origin.
Like I said few religions are free of a guilty past. |

| This era it's more "cult busting" with Jim Jones, Heaven's Gate, David Koresh, FLDS...etc. (And even the peaceful Amish aren't immune.) |
