| First off,I am not denying the phenomenon of alien abductions,I just have a few questions that have been bothering me over the years. #1 Is there any cases of an abduction that hasn't occurred in someones home or bed? What I mean is,I never really heard of any cases that took place when someone is at work or shopping in a mall or in a restaurant. Is there a simple reason for this? And #2 Is there any repeat abductees that have set up some sort of hidden video camera? I would think after numerous times,an abductee would want to document an event this extraordinary.If any one can answer these questions, I would be thankful. |

There are lots of abductions that have happened outside the home. The Allagash Abductions happened while four guys were in a boat fishing on a pond/lake, Betty and Barney Hill were driving down the road and got stopped at a roadblock and it turned out that the people at the roadblock were aliens.
As far as documenting it, that's a good question and I have yet to read about anyone who has done this. Good idea and if it were me being abducted, I would sure as hell have cameras set up too.
There is one case of a lady being taken from her home in Brooklyn while two policemen sat in their cars witnessing it from Brooklyn bridge. Also, a diplomat for the U.S. saw it and a few of his bodyguards and drivers saw her being taken out of her bedroom window with a blue-ish, white light right in the middle of the city. There is a book about it check it out. |

never heard of this case, sounds interesting, do you have links to any information on it ?? |

| I believe many abductions occur in other dimensions not just in the physical. During our sleep state we function on various levels and forms of reality. Yet we don't necessarily remember. An abduction can take place while someone is completely asleep and unaware on a non physical level and yet when they awake bare the physical marks. In other words the physical body may be tampered with on a higher vibrational level (non physical) yet the effects become apparent on the physical body....Hope this gives you some food for thought. cheers |

Abductions serve no purpose about learning the human race (or anything as a matter of fact), which is why I doubt their continued existance - as well as all of their stories.
Surveillance however, different story. |

Hi there,
Yes many abductions occur outside the home or bedroom.
In 1975 Travis Walton was abducted from the forest after work. Six workmates witnessed him being 'zapped' by a strange craft. This was one of the most famous abductions. It was made into a movie "Fire in the Sky" and a book of the same title.
In 1973 Charlie Hickson and Calvin Parker were abducted while fishing on the Mississipi River. An English policeman Alan Godfrey was abducted from his patrol car in 1980.
Outside of Melbourne in 1993 Kelly Cahill was abducted from the road when she left her car to view a landed UFO. Her story was published in her book "Encounter". There are countless others.
The book about the Brooklyn Bridge abduction was about Linda Cortile's experience. It was written by Budd Hopkins and was called "Witnessed".
As for the purpose of abductions we can only speculate. The likes of Budd Hopkins, John Mack and David Jacobs have come up with many theories. Mainly to do with the alien/human hybrid issue. I intend to buy a copy of David Jacobs' "The Threat" soon.
With setting up cameras, this has been tried before and failed for various reasons. Some abductees have turned the equipment off as though they were compelled to do so by unseen forces prior to being abducted. UFOs are also known to interfere with electrical appliances. And abduction researchers can't simply put cameras in someones house without their knowledge. It's illegal and also a big invasion of privacy.
Personally I agree with the views of David Jacobs. These aliens are abducting people not for study, but for reproductive purposes. The hybrids are being created from genetic material taken from humans and cross bred with their own species, in most cases the grey beings. No one knows the purpose of the evolution of this new species but it looks to be, as Jacobs has stated, some sort of colonisation program. And a lack of information given to us by the aliens suggests that they don't want us knowing why. It's very doubtful that it's for our own benefit. As Budd Hopkins said "it's a covert phenomenon". They probably don't want us knowing what's going on and why because we would try to stop them if that's possible. I've often wondered if any abductees out there have rebelled and had a vasectomy/hysterectomy and if it has been successful in stopping the abductions. |

I'm an MPD / DID sufferer (high functioning, thank you very much), and a very small percentage of my wierd expiriences fit into the alien abduction scenario.
Taken from my bed? Yes, that's the only time with greys / reptilians / whatever.
Men in black experiences have however happened in the streets, in front of police cameras and in front of witnesses.
I woke up and watched greys searching my room once.
They're scary but they're comical and kind of interesting as well. No hard feelings.
The men in black are the scum of the earth. They have turfs where they can get away with anything, and our dreams for a better future . . . well that doesn't fit with the way that the men in black like to do things. |

DCR, interesting you would say that about MIB..
i also have had experiences..
abductions..
multiple, group abductions, and after effects..
and MIBs!
they aren't nice..
i think it's funny people like king don't believe, or like it..
i always suspect those types have had experiences..
and deny it.
one of my experiences was on a turnpike, at 2 am.
just an hour or so out of Philly.
one was while i was wide awake, and two, no actually THREE have been witnessed by others..the first one by MULTIPLE witnesses! christ, come to think of it..
i may have four witnessed events or FIVE!
those little sh*ts are busy for somethings doing worthless work!
the MIBs were observed and interacted with witnesses also.
i know this doesn't suit kings vast intellect of species interaction and observation..
but then, sending for sea monkeys as a kid, or having an ant farm for a few weeks doesn't really count, does it?

I'm agnostic about my own grey / reptilian experiences. They can be explained by sleep paralysis / suggestion, prolonged effects of twilight sleep, stuff like that.
I'm convinced that there's something sinister going on with the MIB, however. |

I thought the Betty and Barney Hill incident had already been mentioned  The incident did happen in '61 but was really reported til a few years later when the couple underwent hypnosis to unlock the missing time on their journey. I'm not entirely certain but I always thought that Antonio Villas Boas was the first abductee. He was also outside the house when it happened, driving a tractor on a farm. That incident occured in 1957 although I'm not sure when it was reported and if it was reported before/after the Hills' encounter.
As someone who hasn't had an encounter, I'm probably ignorantly unaware but I never realised the MIB phenomenon was still going on. I have read about cases in the '50s through '70s involving MIB but like I said, I was ignorantly unaware that it was still going on today. Well I guess you learn something new everyday. |
