I was just taking pics of our new tv(and scrubs) and i happened to get a pic of an Orb. To my knowledge nothing tragic has happened on our land, and we built the house ourselves. So it appears it just some trick of the light or something. This just makes me give even less credit then I did before to 'ghostly orb' pictures. It does look cool though imo |

Looks like dust to me man, or maybe moisture in the air. It has the aveage "facial features" of a speck of dust reflecting light.
On a side note, orbs are simply energy. It doesn't matter what happend in the past. Having an orb doesn't even mean you have a spirit. It's just a good indicator. |

I personally don't believe orbs are anything more than a trick of the light. They are a common occurrence and can happen for a variety of reasons. I don't think they have a thing to do with spirits.
I found this picture the other night as I was looking through pictures I took over the summer...

Even though you may have new land, it could an old burial site for a person or group of people. If you are American, it could be an American Indian or soldier that was killed long before the U.S. was established.
I'm not sure of how orbs are made either, but they say there are explanations for them. Ghosts like empty houses, so even if nothing died in it, maybe it was empty enough for long enough for something to move in it. Maybe it's a relative from the past calling? They wanted to drop in and see your new home! LOL!
It's very pretty! |

| Orbs can be balls of energy ,spots on the camera lens ,dust particles etc, etc. |

I recently got pictured with an orb, but it could have been a spot on the camera. We took two shots and one had it in it, but the other didn't. It's a digital camera and the shots were taken one after the other within the minute. I had been looking up the red moon that I missed on the internet, but the screen was gone, so it wasn't a reflection of it on the computer screen.
We are having wierd things happen in this house all the time. Doors will fly open, knocking, but no voices, apparitions, and nothing strange or abusive, so I can't say the house is possessed with any ticked off ghosts. This house is over a hundred years old, so no telling what went on in it.
I'm not the only one who has had the door open for me with no one standing there to have opened it. My mother and my sister both have said the same thing with different experiences, but the doors always open. Wierd!!! |

| That is cute! I didn't think it would be a man, and my brother doesn't get doors opened for him, so you are probably right. He is very proper to the ladies. |

| "orbs" are a result of using a flash. they are reflections from bugs, dust, just about anything that might be hanging in the air. You don't see orbs appear in pictures where a flash or some other strong light wasnt used |

| There was nothing there. Two consecutive shots and one had an orb and the other didn't. Nothing in the lense. It could be that, but it would have to be something to mirror light. |

| All I see is a little red dot, where your picture should be showing up. Did you move or delete the photo? I'd love to see it. |

I didn't put the photo in there and I won't unless I edit my face out. I'll add it in later when I cut both pictures in half. It's in the lower half. I'm not too sure about putting personal information on here and a face to go with it. |

| Hi guys. I used to get orbs quite often when I used a point and shoot digital from Kodak. However, I recently upgraded to a 900$ DSLR and have never had another orb in a photograph, despite taking pics in the same places. Therefore, I am now led to believe that orbs are merely a product of light, and differing camera quality / function. |
