Do any of our probes in space(including the shuttle) have any type of \"radar\" which could constantly monitor the area around the probe by \"x\" distance? Do, or could they send data to us upon it\'s findings based on the programming of various trace compounds, elements, metals, footprint\'s, or sonic & radio frequencies? This could also send us more up to date data on the \"debree\" in space or its true consistency, thus laying out different travel fields for future project\'s, possibly offering us a safer and faster travel plane.
To me, sending probes out of the galaxy and listening to them for years upon years with out the above capabilities would seriously limit the effectiveness of \"finding\" any proof of outside life, or the fact that certain elements are only found on our planet.
Just trying to add to the forum.
