| For most you don't need a new computer. The only games that require it are Doom III and the expansion. |

| return to castle wolfenstein was pretty demanding when i had an ATI radeon 8500 128 mb 8x agp card 2002 or so..other than that quake 3 is soso..nothing the card i just mentioned couldnt handle..btw at that time i had 512mb ddr pc2100 ram 266mhz i believe..its been a while |

I guess so, I have had a login ever since I bought HL2 (2 years ago or so). I don't post on any of their forums or anything, but I do have several games that have either been dloaded from Steam or require a Steam account to access them.  |
