Actually Lake Erie is the warmest of the Great Lakes and it's Lake Superior That will not give up her dead... Smile

I'll attest to that. I was bet a six pack of beer that I could not stay in Lake Superior for 30 seconds up to my chin a couple weeks after the ice broke up. It took place in McLain State Park in the Keweenaw Peninsula. I won, but I thought I was going to stop breathing. Superior is cold even in the summer. By the way they think Bigfoot is running around south of Marquette.
