You know if you just crush her dreams now you won't have to worry about it happening later in life. |

I didn't have the heart to give her an opinion...I just asked her if she wanted to see a Unicorn |
and your daughter replied " ooohhh that great mum, but whats a unicorn ???
only joking of course
but a hard one to answer really isnt it, if she did reply with that, what do you say, " a horse with the horn" |

The main problem I have with it is not actually the horn but the fact that its on the side of a mountain cliff. I suppose I imagine wild horses only being in open fields. Then again if its real the creature could have just adapted to the terrian it exists in.

I live in Northern Nevada and go 4 wheeling on my quad about twice a month on my quad. My favorite places to go are the mountains of course, ain't much else here. We have true wild horses out here and they are very adapt to the terrain!
Now some of the more docile "wild" horses will see you and stand in the way of the trail, they are used to people cause they get fed in the winter time. Now last week I went WAY out to another location and saw horses that were truly wild. They were spooked by us at more than 200 yards. where as the other ones you can drive your loud ass quad up to them, I haven't tried to pet one yet but have been within 5 yards or so of them.
Point being, if its truly wild, it may have been spoked by the camera man from that far if they were talking loud enough.
Was it a unicorn? ... Just because we haven't yet seen one doesn't mean they don't exist. There was that show on Discovery channel called Planet Earth I think, and they said that was the first time anyone has ever filmed a certain type of white mountain cat thing. As far as the remains of a dead Unicorn? I have heard from different people, mostly hunter friends that finding a dead bear is very rare. Don't really know why, maybe they go to caves and die, I don't think people know why that is.
There is no reason why a horse couldn't have a horn like a rhino at one time or another. Why not? |

The Unicorn Deer they found in Italy is a lot better, and it's real.
Mech_Owl: Good call for your daughter, I'm sure she loved every second of it.

| It looks real kinda and it looks like it's muscular, so maybe it could be real but I doubt it, probably lighting and shadows. |
