As the aware folks spell-out what is on the cards, the establishment must adjust their strategies.
Hence, as people become enlightened and use less oil, and other methods are tried where oil/oil products used to be used, the price must come down.
It isn't really solving the problem, but it does improve things.
And let us not forget that there is no shortage of oil. The scarcity of oil products is by political design.
The CEOs of oil corporations have made disgusting profits whilst consumers have been going to the wall.
And gasoline being less of a ripoff now than it has been recently is only for as long as the conditions are unsuitable for screwing more cash out of us. the price will go up as soon as another ruse has been found. |

Well i always thought it was pretty obvious what the tactic would be.
Raise the price somewhat high (4.00 a gallon is high for us in the US obviously), scare the populace with ramplings of what COULD be ahead....the drop it back down to "normal" and "low" so the people will say "thank god its only 3.29 a gallon"...when personally i still think thats steep, but then again im a selfish american. |

Adjusted for inflation it equals the high price in the 80s of $1.41.
A lot of the problem now is the weak ass $$$ and it's going to get weaker, though saved somewhat by the Euro getting inflated as well. |

i dunno BJ, it's going to take a ton of bandaids..
and kisses to make it better.
my views have changed SO much these last few months. i'm not as ardent about politics anymore. it stinks, and we are lied to so much, by all of them. and we will all be apying for this, to what end, i have NO idea.
the fear thing is getting so old hat, i don't jump as much. and arguing matters i have less understanding of, makes me feel like i've been used.
i know there is a big bill coming for all the playing that we are seeing. and that's what bothers me, because i have no control over any of it, if any say.
eh, 1-20. i'll hope, but won't get all warm and fuzzy yet. |
