| I've used one a few times over the years. Told me we'd buy a house in the town we live. Did. Told me Bush would win both elections, did. That I'd stay with my job for over ten years...14 so far. The one wrong thing is it said I'd die at 54. Am now 56! Had "almost" heart failure a couple of months ago but still here. Like anything else, there's a right way and a wrong way to do stuff. |

I have experience using a talking board. The most successful sessions were with a friend, Stacey. she had more experience than i, knew how to open the board, call for protection, close the board etc. i also think she was a good medium for the process.
I'm extremely open minded however i do need some proof or evidence on things like this before i believe in them. Stacey told me a little about experiences she had, what to kind of expect and what its all about before we started. She would call on relatives and spirit guides to protect us, and we would begin to talk with spirits. In her past ouija she has had reoccuring spirits and has been what she believes, posessed.
I'll give an example, a spirit named jeff would come through and talk to her, and asked to "come over", so being a then 20 year old she said sure, come over. That's all she remembered of that night. After she said yes to the spirit, her friends told her she left the board, changed clothing completely and sat in the corner, drawing, writing in a different handwriting and not talking like herself. The next morning she was shocked and confused as to what happened.
So this time, she and i were doing a ouija and who begins to talk? none other than jeff, who asks to "come over"..
At this point we took a break and she told me all about this jeff character.
We asked to leave him in peace and communicate with someone else and we didnt hear from jeff again.
I decided to sort of test things, not in the sense of asking for proof of presence but seeing if it was successful with lights on or off, tv on and off (of course the tv off helps for concentration) we always used white paper, and a black marker to arrange the board with letters and numbers an a circle, yes no etc in the centre, I've also seen the format layed out like the parker bros board game and i was wondering what style you guys used..
Another thing we noticed is when we asked about their death soon after another spirit would come through. I also tried to be direct in the spirit i asked to communicate with, for example the time frame, the location which seemed to work well.
I rubbed wax all over one board in order to preserve it however this seemed to block the board completely.
The most recent ouija i have done with another friend, Tegan, and i always find it works best with just 2 people. Another person is handy to record.
We have foused on asking those questions we all have about life, and saying to the spirit if theres anything you can't answer please move the glass to "z" for example.. Another question i have is glass compared to planchette.. Any thoughts here?
One of my friends passed away last year from cancer, he was my neighbour of 10 years and we grew up together. I never got to say goodbye as he passed away in Mexico (i live in Australia) I went to his funeral and tend to his grave, i still feel so close to him and felt i would love to communicate with him, even if just to show him i dont want him to be alone or forgotten on the other side. We spoke to him and it was a truly beautiful experience, we both felt the warmth of his love and safety as well as his presence. He spelled things only i knew about him. All and all a great experience there.
We communicated with my Tegan's grandmother, which was quite sad really. She asked her to spell what her and her sister used to call her as kids, she told me after that she was expecting it to spell "louie" as in louie the fly, but it spelled out "yucky". I was confused and asked what it meant, and Tegan said shed tell me later.. Her and her sister used to call her the yucky granny, which she was able to apologise for and felt forgiveness.
I feel the energy of the spirit and notice the way it moves differently for each spirit. We asked to speak to our spirit guides who told us each they were an animal form, mine a wolf and hers a rabbit. They told us animals are just like us, which we figured meant that all souls are the same, it is just the vessel we inhabit which differentiates us.
I still have alot of questions and would love to discuss this tpic further. I'm always searching for the answers and would appreciate any advice.
I haven't done a board in a couple of weeks now, i find it saps my energy, or i am too tired to begin with.
I hope those who made it through my speil enjoyed it
Blessed Be,
Karlie |

| the ouija board i have is made out of witchhazel wood and the lettering is burned into the board.and i got mine as a gift from my highpreistess of the order of isis.and the planchette is a crystal hemisphere.and i was taught by the elders in the coven on the correct usage of the ouija board.and i did not start using the one i got as a gift untill i was ready and learned.mine is a circular one with a pentacle in the center of it.i studied for 13 years on the proper usage and proper rituals to perform before and afterwards.the faux one from parker bros. inc. dosen't actually work like the authentic ouija boards.it is merely a toy but in saing that it gives a whole lot of people the wrong impresssion on the tool.and a lot of people suffer the consequences of misuseage of the ouija board.i am 34 years old and been using it for about 20 years and luckly i was given a proper education before i started using mine.as for me it has been a wonderful tool to use in order to help out my clients. |

your board sounds fantastic, reading about how you came to posess the board was interesting for me. I'm at a point where i have such a hunger for more knowledge regarding ouija, and i'm not keen on dabbling with it because i feel im not properly educated. in saying that i do feel i have more knowledge of the ouija than the average layman, and in saying that, it isnt a great deal!
i have more respect for spirits than to trapse around a ouija with little knowledge, so i'm not going to do it until i have t eright knowledge. i think this has alot to do with meditation but again i am still learning. i would appreciate any advice or links, what ever :)ive never been able to just walk away from the unknown.
your board sounds beautiful, ive wanted to burn letters into a board (as i have a burnishing kit) witchhazel wood sounds good, ill see if i can track some down.
overall i think i need t meet likeminded people to learn with. im fortunate i know of a group which meets weekly, to get involved with that. a few weeks ago they did crystal healing, and last week was runes.
Blessed Be
