"Turkey wants to create a secure zone 10km within Syria, which would include the town of Azaz, Deputy Prime Minister Yalcin Akdogan stated, as cited by Reuters. The move comes after Ankara’s shelling of Syrian Kurds for four successive days."

Saudi Arabia's foreign minister says if the Syrian political process fails, President Bashar al-Assad will have to be removed "by force."

“Living backwards!” Alice repeated in great
astonishment. “I never heard of such a thing!”
“—but there’s one great advantage in it, that one’s
memory works both ways.”

Turkey have no place in NATO while Erdogan is doing all the can to start WWIII proper. He is using NATO as a stick with which to beat his opponents.

And the good old Kingdom of Saudi Arabia eh?... our 'friends' in the Middle East. The less said about them the better. Saudi Arabia is itself ripe for an ISIS takeover. Similar religious beliefs and a dirt-poor lower class granted no rights at all will see to it.

the whole situation over there is so sad. those cultures have clashed for so many centuries and millennia and i just don't understand why they can't just stop fighting and try to get along. i know America has gotten into a bunch of controversial stuff but man, it would be a great society if everybody could just learn how to live in peace and harmony with each. it's not hard.

Nigfis: i wouldn't doubt it if ISIS sets up a cell in Saudi Arabia. I'll never claim to know all I need to know about that group of people, but I just see a really big and ugly mess going on.

And I don't agree with what our president-elect wants to do to ISIS. I quote in paraphrase, he wants to "bomb the sh*t" out of ISIS. ugh, so brutal. To me there's so many other non-military ways to deal with someone or a group of individuals that are causing a fuss. cyberattacks or something like that. Diplomacy should always be the first method of getting a peace agreement but I know, it may not be feasible with the likes of these individuals who call themselves ISIS.
