"North Korean state television said in a special broadcast Sunday that it had placed an observation satellite into orbit. However, U.S. Pacific Command in Hawaii said it had “detected and tracked today what we assess was a North Korean missile.”
Secretary of State John Kerry called Sunday's test "a major provocation" that threatens the security of the region and the United States and said the U.S. would work with members of the U.N. Security Council on "significant measures" to hold North Korea to account for the launch."

Glad you are still posting Roger. No doubt we all live with fear even though we say we are not. Anyone who does not think about what these maniacs of the world would love to do to us, has to think it 2 would be to attack the biggest past times of the country. Superbowl Sunday, can you imagine if they could get to the game, or the Rose Parade, or Indy 500? AS for North Korea, the USA has to pressure China to get them under control, and China has the biggest influence on NK. The debate they asked would they do a preemptive stike on NK, all but said yes, but also supported whatever measures Japan would do, considering the missile path would point towards Japan.
The USA uses an aweful lot of effort to avoid any military action, however the USA could desimate NK with a major operation of B-2 bombers taking out any and all of their missile or Nuke facilities. However we do not do these kinds of provacative measures. The obvious fear is NK could do something drastic to SK in response, so it is a sensitive balance, what to do.
WE can expect, on every major holiday, or national event, the country will spend billions of dollars in security measures. The cost of todays Superbowl security will be staqgering.

Thank God nothing happened - knock on wood.
I love seeing the "Believe in Love" signage during the half time, big enough for the Black Knight Satellite to see as well Pepsi sponsored it.... That whole thing about Pepsi and the Black Knight Satellite is mind boggling...
Let's hope soon Disclosure takes place and we can put all this stuff to bed.

you guys may know this, but we're still at war with North Korea. Some people think it's over but it's actually not. We signed a cease-fire which is not a peace accord to end all combat activities. North Korea, in reality, doesn't stand a chance with our intelligence and military might. We must, however, resort to diplomacy and sanctions to get them to calm down and sit down at the negotiation table and work something out but I know in my mind that NK won't do that.
Recently, I learned about a new type of laser that's built upon diamond lenses and has such power that it can even cut through steel and it's got an amazing range. If this new laser can be converted into a weapons platform, there won't really need to be any boots on the ground or even putting any naval fleet in the region because this laser can be turned into a mountable system that can be put on, say, a UAV and fire it from high altitude and disable any weapons system that NK may create. And with the progress of computer technology, cyber weapons will be the new armaments.
NK wants to go with old school nuclear warheads that's on them. We go new school and create a laser so powerful it can cut through steel and be fired from a great distance from a UAV. And then we can hit them with some kind of cyber attack.
