I've heard Trump supporters complain about nothing being done with the wall.  He may be trying to fulfill his promise.  He still has to get money from congress though.

After months of competition and preparation, contractors broke ground Tuesday on eight prototypes for President Trump's long-promised border wall. U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced that the companies would have about 30 days to complete construction on their prototypes in San Diego.

"We are committed to securing our border and that includes constructing border walls," CBP's acting deputy commissioner, Ronald Vitiello, said in a statement Tuesday.

"Our multi-pronged strategy to ensure the safety and security of the American people includes barriers, infrastructure, technology and people. Moving forward with the prototype enables us to continue to incorporate all the tools necessary to secure our border."

You can make a multi million dollar wall 3 times higher and stronger, while you can get a ladder one foot taller. The weakest link. My best friend goes to Mexico regularly. Sitting at the border in line, video taped 2 guys within sight of the crossing gate. One was a look out, while the other scaled the fence, when no one was watching. Both went right over and into the USA right in front of his car.

You need a good barrier, but 2000 miles long, how do you split a wall down the middle of a river, or in such baron hostile desert, its like the moon. Places where there is nothing vast desert.

I agree that the wall isn't a solution.  I've just heard people get angry about Trump not building a wall.  This is a start for them.  I think Anne Coulter was complaining about it.
