To Greeney2, The whole Tellinger thing with respect to raising money seems odd at first - I get that and I thought the same thing. However, how do you create a free world with today's standards and finances currently the living standard? Raising awareness of his dream/lectures, financing a community (in Africa) to start up essentially an independent free town/city that covers all the main jobs/professions = will cost money at first... to get them there, to build what's necessary to get it all going. He's come a long way. What I don't agree with Michael is that fact he wants certain places all over Earth "Ubuntu" type establishments. Where I want Ubuntu for everyone, everywhere. Again, the first ripple effect is free energy. I hope the Plekhanov brothers are building him such a device now. Tellinger has sued the banking system and proved them wrong on several accounts of fraud and other things...

To Orangetom, of course not everyone is on same level (right now). I use our native Canadian Indians as this example. They're approx. 7 million native Indians living in Canada with the vast majority living on reserves. I've been to Golden Lake Reserve several times and have friends within that community. Now, this community living essentially free off of us tax payers have done a pretty good job as a whole 'living free' without really working - can't speak for all of them. Now, they're several other reserves across Canada where in one reserve may house 10,000 houses... you could count a total of 8 windows in total on the 10,000 houses, where they sold the glass/windows off for drugs, alcohol etc... dives, dumps, etc... and being a RCM officer as the "control" person/job to keep the peace within those communities... I can go on and on.... my point is that a free system can work but also not work. Again, knowledge is everything but I understand not everyone wants the knowledge.

Back to Greeney2; What if someone 10 years down the line cures your grandson of cancer? But wait a second. This person got a "free" education 10 years ago when you heavily disagreed with the system. How do you feel about it now?

I did not have the funds as a teenager to go to college or university. My mother which was on mother's allowance and wellfare couldn't afford my education. My last year of high school offered a co-op placement and which I decided to work at a high tech company and the rest is history. Still working for the company (although changed many names over the last 18 years) paid for my university and college based on passing grades. I have saved my company many headaches, financial problems and now leading a R&D project in resonating magnetic coil technology where as to transfer energy wirelessly as well to transfer information in all it's telecom forms over the same methodology - ground breaking stuff.

Now, you're saying someone like me couldn't live up to the potential of someone that could afford school? Wow.

Greeny2,

I do not begrudge anyone needing food ..food ..if I have it. I do not automatically by default owe them food. I choose to whom I will give food.

I gave the fellow asking for money food at times in the parking lot at Wal Mart.  I would go next door to the hot dog place and get him a couple of chili dogs and a cold drink. I found out he slept behind the heater at the taxi base station control at night then would often go to wall mart in the day time to pan handle. Sometimes I would give him five bucks. I also knew he was mostly blind. I would tell him I was giving him 5 bucks. Frank would give me a number to call for a taxi to come and pick him up and take him back to the station. The station told me he slept there.

One day Frank was no longer there as well.

The other fellow I gave money to and often food was a fellow in a wheel chair at the gate to the shipyard. He was a Vietnam veteran and when I would go in early I would swap stories with him.

As I found he was a Believer I gave him my Franklin Electronic Bible and got another for myself. I also gave him cans of soup and a sterno stove by which to cook it when his electricity went out..storms or hurricane. Also disposable lighters to get it started. Jimmy was his name. One day I no longer saw him at the gate. I miss the olde fellow and his stories.

I choose to whom I give my charity. I do not automatically owe it to people.

One fellow at the shipyard asked for some money...when I took out the bills I had in my pocket and gave him a couple of ones...he saw the five and asked for it as well. That ended it for me. I gave him nothing. I determine to whom and how much I give or if I even will give.

I take serious risks for my monies at times and some of the work I do requires special knowledge and training. The monies come hard and at risk. I do not come in second third and fourth place when I am taking the Risks. I determine how it goes with my risks.

But I am aware that there are plenty of people out here who would reverse this risk system and have me take plenty of risks to set up the buffet line for them ...show up make a mess and have others pick up after they have eaten and left a mess. Some of these people today are in leadership positions and should know better. Forced government charity on the taxpayers back is not charity..it is theft.

Roger Brown,

I don't believe the government should be in the education subsidizing business...for some of the very reasons Greeny2 states. Some people have the ability to make something of themselves and show or develop real genuine character. Many do not. The other reason I don't care for it is that much of education ..just like many government programs has become a jobs program..not about education per se ..and the education suffers accordingly.

Welfare housing is become the same...job security for many of the people working in social services. They have to keep people on the programs to keep their jobs...ie...job security. I know people in the apartment business and they are well aware of the abuses in this system the character of the people to whom they rent. They often wind up moving them out because of abuse of the lease terms and their neighbors. Are all of them like this ..no.. but it is a noticeable amount. It just does not make the news in lieu of career victimization and the guilt game...hand outs for votes.

The Indians in this country and to my surprise can qualify to have their complete education paid for on the government dole. If this is so It does not explain why many do not leave the reservation if they can get a complete education enough to better themselves.

I do not particularly feel sorry for the Indians if they can get a college education on the public purse and do not take advantage of it.

I should have stayed in college but now know I would not have gotten along with many of the liberal professors preaching their secular religion and dogging out everyone else's religion.

In come colleges this is a regular happening today unless they realize how salty one can be or it is clear you cannot easily be bullied. This religion is infecting down into the high school levels today and beyond down to the lowest grades.

And this nonsense about safe spaces..is laughable as part of higher education. These kids are being taken for a ride...by themselves and also the schools. The never outgrew a time out card.

It is after midnight here and I am taking my .357 Magnum with me to the store as I have to find some plumbing parts if they have them so I can make this plumbing repair. If not I will have to find it in the daytime. Lots of two legged wildlife around here and it is getting worse. I am a night owl and prefer to stay up into the wee hours of the morning.

Thanks to all for their posts,

Orangeotm

First I hate hypotheticals, especially when they are engineered for an obvious answer.  Who wouldn't get on their knees in thanks. But the coin always has 2 sides, and it is just a possible when you take your loved one to the "free medical care for everyone place", that they were loaded with doctors who got a degree from a free medical college vs someone who graduated from the finest medical school.  But you got the guy who wasn't serious, squeeked through with a C- GPA, and met all the minimum standards as an internship.  How would you feel about that now with your grandson in those hands?

Back to the no money concept, its a utopia concept that sounds great on paper, but not so great in practice.

"C"? Um... no. Those who obtain a C in a doctor type profession end up selling drugs over a counter right?

"sounds great on paper, but not so great in practice." Can't practice this if we don't have the chance. Government has done a wonderful making sure we adhere to this BS huh?

You want that "C" student filling your prescriptions?  Kiss I think you get the point!

But what you are saying prooves my point, in that everyone and everything, has some relative value, be it education, skills, supply and demand, rarity, or the level of skills.  The "c" student got demoted due to his skill level. How do you measure that without some system of bartering and valuations of everything from property to products, and what goes into all of them? How could you feel self worth, in a system where everything is worthless and has no relative value?  You are a brain surgeon, and I mow lawns, are they equal?    Money is just a gauge to value, and way to make equivilant standards.

Not everyone who gets a "C" is bad, some may do bad in school but do very well in the real world.  Just like not everyone who gets an "A" is going to do well in the real world.

People with good grades and competitive mindset ..usually do not go into government service. They go into private industry or start businesses of their own...where the challenges are higher and so too the rewards for the successful.

Government often just gathers for the bulk of its people with C grade people.

I cannot begin to count the number of women in my lady friends profession ..apartment manager ..who did not make it...and got fired. So many of these people/women went into state and local government jobs..in particular..social services. I was quite astounded to find this out...that these are the people doling out public monies and benefits...people who could not make it in the private job market.

Some of the things I have heard our leadership say in the last 20 years...it is obvious to me that the standards for public office are not as high as we have been lead or mislead to believe they are ...from the office of President on down.

It occurred to me, after being bombarded and gaslighted by this kind of nonsense passing off for the moral and ethical high ground....that some of these people are showing their true religion.

Or to put it another way..with regards to the political party process...the parties and their candidates are of the counterfeiter ...not the product advertised. Particularly when it becomes obvious that the standards for such an office are not that high.

With that in mind...about not the product advertised..or counterfeit..one learns to look at the requirements for Supreme Court Judge, Governor, Senators and Represenatives, Mayors...etc etc etc..for the product advertised verses a counterfeit..of the fallen.

This is the problem currently and at  which many voters are arriving with discomfort...the realization that the two party system is not the product advertised.

All of this from  a "C" average!!!??

My .02,

Orangetom

You would have to conduct a survey to prove this; the general selection of C type graduates in government. That's painting the ol'brush with one stroke...
