Just imagine the debates over locations and settings. That alone could take 20+ yrs to settle.

You're right Sandra. Used to be tons of welcome posts for new members around.
Seems like it just kinda stopped.
Who knows maybe it'll pick up again since being mentioned. 😉

shadowfx and Sandra,

You're "on" about welcoming newcomers.   I just joined a couple days ago.   I used to go to a new site I joined and announce I had arrived.   People might be different now, though.   Not as welcoming now.   I see it on the streets in San francisco where I live.

But, I'm different, now, too.   First off, I'm an MTF, transgender; transsexual person.   I was always this way.   I'm fine with that, but there are other factors.   The biggest one is:  I was born with Asperger's syndrome as well.   It's a condition that occurs in the highest percentage amongst West Europeans and European Americans for Caucasians.   I've been 'flipped off' by strangers for walking down a street wearing a tee shirt and jeans.

Even if this is San Francisco, there are still jerks in this town.   Can't get away from that, I guess.    I'm having a good time answering threads so far on this site.   I hope Sandra, as a woman, can understand this coming from someone whose not entirely ignorant about women.   I do have some organic, hormonal experience in this regard, IMHO.

Answer this post at your leisure, if you like.   I don't mind talking to people who're open to others who're also rather 'outside the norm', as it were.
