As a Republican, I am ashamed that Donald Trump is doing well. I hope people wake up that the man is a disgrace to this party, to this country, and to the American people.

When asked for how he is going to do these "great" things he has nothing to contribute but insults and bafoonery making a mockery out of this electoral process. Yay for him for being a billionaire, but a billionaire doesn't make you an automatic "great" choice for president nor does it mean you even deserve to be considered.

I've held off showing my lack of support for him so strongly, but tonight, I've had enough. If you plan on placing a check next to his name on election night ask yourself this question: "Will he truly represent my goals for this country, or is he simply giving great rhetoric, with absolutely NOTHING to back it up?"

We all love reality shows in one form or another. Don't make our White House the set of the next one.

Sincerely,

John Greenewald, Jr.

Many of Trump's talking points cater specifically to the lowest common denominator of our country's populace. They buy into scare tactics like "Build Wall!" and "Stop Muslims!" without any regard to how a wall of that size would be paid for or what a 'Muslim' actually looks like beyond the stereotypical caricature of a Middle Eastern individual with a row of TNT strapped to their chest. It's almost as depressing as Democrats who go around acting like Hillary or Sanders are the second coming, except Trump's supporters seem to emphasis some of the country's worst characteristics.

Trump will win and he'll be thrown under the bus with project disclosure.... he'll be screwed for his entirety.

I've been wary of him since the beginning, though I could understand why people were gravitating to him. But as time goes on, especially this week, the more I don't plan on voting for him.  Now is getting to much like a reality show,  which I don't normally like because people get nasty to other people on them and that seems to be what the people who watch them like. Something I really hate.

Trump does have pros however many cons... His remark back at the Pope was pretty spot on. Nothing says Christine like a wall around the Vatican. BOOM!

Faaking Vatican makes me sick and all how play "God" within it. Taxless society with their own laws, rules and government and much more. They had that coming IMO.

The only reason I want Trump to win is because I feel the powers at be will toss him under the bus with project disclosure. It will be the only way to shut him up and everything else. Going to be a fun ride from over the boarder.

Making campaign rheteric and actually doing some of these things is a different story.  We have a Congress and the President has to work with Congress.  Trump does make me cringe at times, but if he toned it down a little, and came a little closer to earth, he would be nominated for sure.  I think he is loosing some ground lately, but still way ahead, so go figure.  Somewhere the Democraps or in left field and far left field, Trump is equally far right, Cruz near him and the others fall in the middle.

NO matter what happens, Bernie can not be President, and Hillary would be a nightmare for so many reasons it would be a disaster.  She is the right hand of Obamas first term, and laid the goundwork for the mess we have now in the middle east, spurred ISIS with the failed Iraq exit statagy, and lied about Bengazhi.  I have no doubt it all leds back to Obama and no doubt emails include Obama, and why its all being hidden, or like pulling teeth to get them.

Bottom line, no matter what, if Trump is nominated, its 100 times better than any Bernie or Hillary.  They can not get in, and my hope is Hillary is indicted.

The  big issue is the death of Supreme Court justice, and not allowing a totally liberal justice to get in setting an imbalance for life in the Supreme Court.

Why, exactly? Because "socialism"?

Thats just one reason, but the ranting about all the new programs, and don't worry the top 1% will pay for all of it is ridiculeous.  If you believe more and more givaway programs will all be free, and only the billionaires will pay for all of it, it makes no sense.

We always hear the middle class is disappearing, and its the top 1% that caused it.  The rich get richer and its all off the backs of the middle class. Part of that is true, except the middle class is shrinking from both sides, and it impacts the middle class having to sacrifice more and more.  The Donald Trumps making a mint off another resort doesn;t hurt the middle class, as much as more welfare programs, or raising minimum wage to $15.  The more they giveaway in housing programs, medical programs, aid for everything from spitting out babies and staying single to section 8 housing is great for them, but the middle class never gets a penny of relief.

We pay for every dime of our housing, our food, we support the school systems in our property taxes, do not qualify for any kind of aid or discounts, and support all the illegals who are here enrolling kids in the schools we support, flooding the county emergency rooms and hospitals never paying a dime. We even have school lunch programs.

Bernie says he will give away free college for everyone.  Ridiculeous!  Who will pay for that, you think its only the top 1%?  Just have no tuition, everyone gets in for free, what will happen to the standard of education, when this opens the door for another new program of school, and associated aid for housing is all paid for too?  They will lower the standards to those who did not earn exceptance to college by a  gpa average, and it will turn into another welfare scam.  If you are paying for tuition, you are not going to throw it down the drain hopefully, but if its just all free, who will care about maintaining a high standard of grades.  They will dummy down the standards, to accomidate those who are not up to college level work, the result will be grads (if the finish) at levels below what industry will need. As it is now a BA is not enough, many require Masters as minimum degrees.

If its anything like Obamacare, and "affordable care act", what out what that did to our pockets, and imagine a free college tuition for everyone program.  Compare to many countries that have these programs they are far from free, and taxes are very high.

Recently, I posted this. I figured it would be fitting here to share in the dialogue:

Not that you all want a political statement, but here goes.

Plain and simple, as many of our states gear up to cast votes in the coming weeks, I ask that all you Trump "supporters" actually think about why you are voting for him. I was in the double digits before I stopped counting the number of Trump "supporters" that failed to answer this simple question: "Why are you not bothered that Trump doesn't have a plan for what he says?" Not a single person answered me with, "He does have a plan." Or, "He will XXXXX" Nothing, nada, zilch. They just say we need to do what he says - but no one knows HOW he can actually do it (not even Trump himself answers that very question). Please find one answer in any of his live debates or interviews, where he gives an actual PLAN and not just the same "I'm Great" one-liners. People support him to the high heavens, but when asked why, they can't tell me.

People are enthralled by funny quips, witty remarks and just plain good ol' fashioned entertainment. But what they don't have, is real substance from their candidate of choice.

I am a proud Republican, though I DISagree with "establishment" Republicans on some issues. I guess you'd call me a Libertarian (which I just think is a Republican who doesn't want to say the "R" word and someone who disagrees with hardcore establishment beliefs) That's what true politics is all about - debate. Some liberals have largely forgotten that.

Although I agree with SOME of what Trump SAYS, I highly DISagree with him as a person, a candidate, a "role model" as a President for kids like my son, and I downright think he is clueless when it comes to implementing his overall agenda. Some of you want to put him into the highest office of the land. Good on you -- but for me? If he wins the Republican nomination, this will be my first Presidential election I will sit out of.

At least if Clinton is elected, she will give me at least 4 more years of FOIA requests on probably a daily basis.
Now, who's going to attack and/or unfriend me first?! wink emoticon That hasn't happened to me in like, a day or so wink emoticon

Sincerely,

John Greenewald, Jr.
