Recorded and watched the Spielberg Movie "Lincoln" the other night. A true historic period of time when Lincoln struggled to pass the 13th Amendment. A bit slow at times, but a flawless portrayal of Lincoln, and his cabinet, unbelievable sets and wardrobes, it was really an excellent movie. Wasn't sure how Danial Day Lewis was going to come off as Lincoln, as my generation has the voice of Royal Dano etched in our minds of what Lincoln looked like and sounded like. He was excellent!
We actually just saw some of the sets from the movie on display in the Lincoln exhibit of the Reagan Library. The depiction of the bed ad pillow Lincoln died on was very accurate, as we saw the real bed and pillow on display only a few days prior to seeing he movie.
