honestly though, that guy represents genuine Christianity about as much as Al Queda represents geniune Islam, or the Isreali Governement represent genuine Judhaism, come to think of it.

Willie Wonka quotes..
What is this Wonka, some kind of funhouse?
Why? Are you having fun?
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.

It doesn't matter what the police called him, or what the author of the article called him, or even what he calls himself. This man is NOT a Christian. It is clear to me what is going on here and anybody who pays attention to Biblical prophecy knows what I'm talking about.

As you know, a Christian is one who is filled with the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Holy Spirit) and is guided by the Holy Spirit. A true Christian strives to be more Christ like. Jesus said, a bad tree does not produce good fruit and a good tree does not produce bad fruit. Judge the fruits. Do you believe this guy is filled with the spirit of Jesus?

Also, here is this guy's description of a Christian from
http://www.christianpost.com/news/confe ... ist-52798/

He writes on page 1307 of his online manifesto:
“If you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God then you are a religious Christian. Myself and many more like me do not necessarily have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God. We do however believe in Christianity as a cultural, social, identity and moral platform. This makes us Christian.”

WRONG!

Judge the fruits.

How do I go about doing that when all Christians are sinners? Which sins am I supposed to weigh more heavily and decide oh they're not Christian because they sinned in this or that way? Only God knows if they are truly repentant and Christ taught us to not judge.

I'm not a big fan of labels anyway.

By that logic every crime should just be judged as one sin, and if all sins are equal, they should all have the same penalty. I guess its either life in Prison for stealing a candy bar, or probation for first 92 mass murder offenders . What ever it is, they both get the same punishment. I do think killing 92 people would indicate, you may not be a Christian.

An unrepentant sinner shall be condemned to hell, no? And that is the case no matter what the sin, from what I remember.

The fruit of many (or all) self-proclaimed Christians is sin, whether that sin is murder or coveting or adultery or bearing false witness. Does that fact imply that most self-proclaimed Christians actually aren't Christians?

Does God care what other people think of you in terms of whether or not you're a Christian?

Christianity is not spread by the sword.

This explains what is Islam, Communism, Roman Catholicism, and many others.

But may people who have political agendas must needs have Christianity be spread by the sword while not making this very point...that it is not spread by the sword.

No instruction to ever promote Christianity by the sword or even by the stake/burnings.

Christianity is spread by the Spirit. By His will.

Thanks,
Orangetom

Pretty hard concept to understand sometimes. Not sure how anyone can repent the killing of 92 people, or even one for that matter in the eyes of the Lord. This Norway shooter is definatly not repentant, since he layed down his guns, and said "This had to be done", and thought he was doing the right thing. Who wouldn't say this nutjob, is not just insane? If he is insane, is a still a sinner in Gods eyes, and incapable of the concept of remorse?

I cannot fathom the idea of the Grace of God ,would not be forgiving to sins that we all do daily. If we are all sinners, we can never be perfect, we all slip. We say a bad word, we get angry at others, any number of things the Catholics regard as Venial sins. Mortal Sins are the sins that are the "E" tickets to Hell, and this one qualifies, to just about anyone on earth. How do you not judge, when you know this person just murdered 92 people? How do you not judge a Osama Bin Laden who kills 3000 innocent people? The rapist who raped your wife, Mother, or Daughter? We are not to judge, yet we live in a society where we are guarenteed a trail by jury, where 12 of your peers do judge you? And we are called on from time to time to be on a jury. I do not think that was what Jesus ment saying "Not to Judge", and that we should not have a system of justice.

Yes, but I never claimed to be a good Christian. I would torture the m.f.'er who violates me or family but that goes against the teachings of Christianity. Or at least I would want to.

All I am suggesting is that all Christians by definition make mistakes (sin) and they all still consider themselves Christian.

God doesn't care if I or you or qmark thinks or doesn't think this ahole is a real Christian.

Given the situation, labels are pretty irrelevant. Actions speak louder than labels.
