http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagual
In Mesoamerican folk religion, a Nagual or Nahual (both pronounced [na'wal]) is a human being who has the power to magically turn him- or herself into an animal form: most commonly a donkey, turkey, or dog,[1] but also other and more powerful animals such as the jaguar and puma.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonal_%28mythology%29
Tonal is a concept within the study of Mesoamerican religion, myth, folklore and anthropology. It refers to the belief found in many indigenous Mesoamerican cultures that a person upon being born requires a close spiritual link to an animal, a link that lasts throughout the lives of both creatures. It is in this way similar to the concept of Totem.

This also seems relevant; I'm reading it now.

Willie Wonka quotes..
What is this Wonka, some kind of funhouse?
Why? Are you having fun?
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.

When I was a student of Crowley, I was indoctrinated into matters pertaining to the tree of life and kabbalah. That was 20 years ago and I've forgotten most of what I knew, which is fine.

There indeed is a striking resemblance between various esoterica.

Have you heard of the flower of life? Same: I don't remember much...mer-ka-bah fields and whatever.

Tools.

I think studying those things serves a purpose but are a means to another end. Including don Juan's teachings.

So one thing of interest in the diagrams is that talking is associated with reason but dissociated with will.

There's an interesting article on the zone.

Discussion forums are an example of group flow in action.

Playing games actually helps me cultivate the feeling of being in the zone, as trivial as that might sound. I used to use it when I would exercise... And I use it when writing.

It's in me, sometimes I impede the flow without knowing it.
