Seriously Humphreys and EH, I read news stories all the time that allow comments to come in, and the level of comments can be appauling, but thats how it is on any news comments. People love to get a rise out of others, and people act like idiots doing it. I read one time about a coworker killed on his motorcycle heading home from work, made a mistake passing a semi, and didn't account for a farm implement, that turned left in front of him. It was tragic, but the idiots came out of the woodwork, and the mans son actually was on the comments defending his father. They just egged him on, and gave it to him worse, positively disgusting, it beyond cruely and deciency. Evidently thats has happened with this persons Obituary, I have not looked.

You actually think this proves these are Christians, and the way real Christians act? Or people just like the idiots who played mind games, like with the son of my coworker? The world is full of idiots, and they come in many forms from A to Z and everywhere in between.

There is an old saying, "Cruisin' for a Bruisin", which seems like what you are wanting to happen here. You seem to be wanting the Christian group to start up with 'I told you so's", or some zinger to proove to you, how bad religions and Christians are. That seems to be more paramont in this thread, than your actual mourning for the deseased.

Well, that wasn't the point of the thread, just wanted to remember a guy who has had a significant impact in the world of religion. I think you'd have agreed with him on a lot of things outside of religion, actually Greeney.

Oh c'mon now greeny, you're blowing this way out of proportion. I made a simple comment based on what I've read from other Christians posting around the Internet. And by my mere mentioning of it, it pretty much deterred it from happening here -- because of what gudskepteacal posted, it made you all think for once.

Your assumption that everyone posting mean comments aren't real Christians is quite laughable. Fact is not all Christians are goodie-two-shoes (including you). Deal with it.

I'll look him up to see if I may have known who he was, but have no recollection of associating his name with anything.

Hutchinson? LOL, you are really are a piece of slime orangetom. Nothing has changed.

Just ignore that narcissistic, whacked out retard. I've got him on my ignore list and can't see his posts. Every post of his is the same ridiculous nonsense..."public school education and television/movie education," as if he's above anybody that ever went to public school or watched anything on television. What's funny is that he's so far gone he doesn't even realize he's condescending everyone, including his own brethren, Laugh because I'm certain at least 95% of them went to public school and watched TV. Laugh Gimmie a break. What a tool.

LOL LOL...they are wound up now. You can tell when it comes down to name calling and labeling. Also how soon they forget...

A public education = a movie/television education majoring mostly in emotional instant gratification. You can tell this by the labeling technique.

Not all of us out here live in the movies and television set. We can think outside such artificially stimulated emotions.

Some of us can actually think outside of Race , sex, sports et al.

I agree with what Greeny2 states here. And once again [email protected] says it with more of an economy of words than do I.

This whole thread is a bait job, and post #2 and #4 prove it beyond any doubt. It wasn't good enough I guess, that Christians didn't jump into the thread, so, the 2 Christian-hating, Christian-baiting Atheists had to hurl insults based on their own imaginations.

"The Christians didn't jump in here and say "burn in hell" but I bet they were thinking it! The bible supports, it right?"

Whatever.

Let the guy rest in peace and quit using him as cannon fodder for attacks on Christian bystanders who obviously weren't interested in the thread... that is until you attacked them.

Embarassingly tasteless, this thread is.

You sound just like greeny, blowing this waaaaaaaay out of proportion...getting all "emotional television" on us. Laugh

Again, I simply mentioned something (tacked on at the end of my post) that was a result of what I've been seeing posted by Christians around the Internet. And there's been nothing but "waaaa waaaaa waaaaaa foul" ever since. As if you all have never seen a Christian say someone was/is going to "burn in hell" before...like every one of you are a buncha innocent winged glowing freaks. You people crack me up. Laugh

While at the same time, you just got finished telling me this the other day in the "Big Bang does not suck" thread:

"frrostedman" wrote: Don't worry, EV. You'll have all the evidence you need and then some, soon enough.

"...and then some?" What exactly is that supposed to mean? That I'm going to be fed grapes in "Heaven" while listening to harps? Laugh

You're just like all the other foul Christians out there telling atheists they're going to "burn in Hell." What you're doing in this thread right now is nothing but an act -- the proof is right there -- what I just quoted you on. You just kicked yourself in the ass, big time, plastic man. Laugh

Funny, the only people I hear squawking about "burn in hell" are you and other Atheists.

Your tactics are too thinly veiled.

"Pssssst.. hey! I have an idea! Let's create a thread where we post a R.I.P. message about a guy who Christians normally didn't like, who died! Then if the Christians come in and say something mean, we'll jump all over them and make a big deal out of it! And, if the thread doesn't get any attention, we'll talk to each other and pretend that they are thinking they want the guy to burn in hell, and insult them and bait them into the thread... then when they come in and we get in a huge argument, at the end, I'll just post something like... ' Well gosh, Christians, I was only trying to pay my respects to a poor man that died... you Christians are really cruel and mean!'"

Yep. That just about sums it up.

Merry Christmas, and try to stay out of Whoville this year.
