I was not sure where to put this post so if the mods could help out it would be appreciated.

I found this vid on Youtube and thought it worthy as topic of discussion. It is in NO way to be construed as an attack on Obama or America.

All I ask is that the video be viewed and commented upon.

My opinion is that I don't know, that is why I am asking for feedback.

Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot...

Words are easilly skewed and their meaning changes over time. Example: "Girl" used to mean young child like "Kid" does today, but eventually it came to denote only female children.

The first question that comes to mind regarding this video is "where else does lightning come from?". "Lightning from the heavens" could refer to any pre-existing storm gods even.

Reading into this is like reading Nostradamus looking for clues like Histur and Hitler, basically a waste of good research time where everything gets connected. Sort of like an alien saying ooh Joe Stalin comes from Earth and so does Joe Dimagio the must be related, and they go through human DNA and find everybody is pretty much related after 2000 years or so of intermixing, conclude Dimagio must be one of Stalin's communist henchmen, why else would he be pictured with a club all the time?

Finally there are actually only a few words that scholars agree that Jesus actually said, contrary to the many passages attributed to him. Those words if I remember correctly are roughly only "I am who I am."

Anyone who really studied biblical theology should know "your feet are not always your feet." 😯

Is that true? Scholars dispute all the other words?

Maybe that's what the New-Agers are preaching.

Hint: A biblical "scholar" isn't defined as a secular Liberal new ager with experience in surfing secular, Liberal, new age websites for information on the bible.

It almost sounds like that's coming from someone who has really studied biblical theology! 😉

I saw that quite awhile ago. It is interesting that the two words Jesus used while discussing the Anti-Christ, do sound a lot like the name Obama. But, I wouldn't jump to conclusions just because his name sounds like that of the Anti-Christ, or that he is a big supporter of the Anti-Christ religion (Islam). It could just be a coincident. Then again..................?

There are many men who could be the Anti-Christ. When the one is revealed, there will be no doubt. The studying I have been doing of end time prophecies, both Christian and Islamic, indicates that the Anti-Christ may come from Islam. Read the end time prophecies from the books of Daniel and Revelation, then read some of the Muslim prophecies of the coming Al Mahdi. The Anti-Christ and the Al Mahdi do appear to be one in the same.

Scholars do not consider words who's meaning has changed. They study the words found in the old documents, and use the meaning of the words at the time they were used. But, that isn't what is in question here. The comparison made in the video is the sounds of the words and how they are similar to Obama.

Actually most legitimate scholars do agree that the quotes of Jesus in the New Testament, were indeed spoken by Jesus. The only "scholars" that I have seen who deny this, are those who have a specific agenda to discredit the Bible.

And here I used to think you were reasonably well educated. So much for making assumptions.

I did hear that at one time W was supposed to be the Anti-Christ too but Obama Seems to have more people thinking he is for what ever reason.

I also found it interesting that he is the 45th President, Neurologically 45 is 4+5 = 9 and 9 in numerology terms is an ending.

Interesting isn't it boys and girls 😛 .

Actually I know most of that from being a Preacher's Kid (both ma & pa and what they learned in seminary). I'm sitting with 2 editions of the Interperters Bible and a Strong's Concordance a foot and a half behind me.

And yes "Feet Aren't Always Feet" in biblical context, "Feet" have a dual meaning at times which can get very ....interesting... if taken the wrong way within a statement.

As for the sound similarities linguistics mixed with politics don't mesh well.

 I like alot of what Aquatank has to say on the subject.
There are alot of things in scripture that have dual meaning, yes.
Even more than dual.

And I do not believe Obama is the antichrist.
Absolutely Not.

“Living backwards!” Alice repeated in great
astonishment. “I never heard of such a thing!”

memory works both ways.”

Actually I'm pretty sure I misqouted "I am who I am" Jesus spoke though the main two words though are the important part. He keeps refering to himself as "I Am" in today's context that means little, in biblical context its a reference to the name of God. This is what I mean by most scholars agreeing that is clear he spoke those two words as what he said, its a double entendre with deliberate provocation intended. The provocation & meaning is clear in John 8:24 (see the New Interpeters Bible Vol IX pg 6341995).

Sorry it took so long to get back to what I was trying to say, work et al.

Now we also have a problem the whole lightning From Heaven thing

in Aramaic its pronounced
B'aRQoA B'aSHMaYoA
or
B'aRQoA OaMRaYMoA

I don't think that sounds quite similar to what is in the video.
