hi, not sure how old this post is however i think i can give you 1st hand experience advice on the convict lifestyle & sometimes choice of lifestyle we can become accustomed to over the years from loosing faith and trust in society as a whole,
I guess i was this guy in many ways, i didn't get sick of prison until my 6th lag & decided it was high time i grew up, as in some of us need to grow up all over agian and actually feel aged 5 or whatever the 1st memorys of childhood are at the time we seek help in recovery, this is were many of us find we had abandonment issues from age 3 and up, age 3 is when we start to recall memory in the human brain & was the 1st place i went back to in 2004 upon my own recovery that worked only because i wanted it for ME.
I remember having a girlfriend i fell in love with a few years ago i was hoping would eventually change her ways etc but this was my own blind love thinking back, people need to change there ways for there own good and not the good of others only, all that is merely a gift after we come right i suppose.
