Another good one is STANDING IN THE SHADOWS OF MOTOWN which told of THE FUNK BROTHERS and the background work they did for all of the Motown Greats like Marvin Gaye....

QUADROPHENIA Who can ever forget the image of tough guy Sting reduced to working as a Bellboy ?

SID AND NANCY: You know they're both going to meet a tragic end but like a Car Wreck you can't help watching it happen....

Who can forget the scene where Sid's chowing down with Nancy's Grandma & Grandpa bare chested ? 😯

Plus cameos by Iggy Pop and Courtney Love as one of Nancy's drug taking skank pals...

Gee I guess she really had to do a lot of research for that role ! 😀 Laugh

Oh and before I forget.....

The glorified skeleton in THE MONKEES Closet...

The boys take all the sweetness and light from the 60's show and give it a swift kick in the BALLS !!!

Image Enlarger

A plotless collection of various musical encounters and adventures by the famous rock band "The Monkeys" which follows Davy, Peter, Mike and Mickey as they travel through an assortment of places in search of meaning... [Image Can Not Be Found]

Written by Jack Nicholson and Bob Rafelson with cameo's by Annette Funicello, Dennis Hopper, Sonny Liston, Toni Basil,Terri Garr, Victor Mature as an evil giant that stalks the boys,

and even Frank Zappa pulling a cow and offering constructive criticism to our lads...

THIS FLICK HAS GOT TO BE SEEN TO BE BELIEVED !!!

The one and only rock and roll musical I ever enjoyed was Jack Black's Pick of Destiny.

Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a spirit vastly superior to that of man. - Albert Einstein
