William J. Lashua turned 90 years old on September 4th, 2010. A World War 2 vet, he's sure come a long way. The problem was, no one was around to celebrate it with him, or so he thought. After a flier appeared on the Ashburnham American Legion's public boards at one of their locations, a picture of it found its way to the internet. Soon, hundreds of forums, blog sites, and even a few second news sites managed to rally hundreds of people to send this man more birthday cards than he could ever imagine. His birthday was not one to be spent alone, and this hero deserved nothing less.

(I also sent him a card, and there are Youtube videos of how his party turned out.)

Thank you to all who contributed. You all are the reasons why I still have faith in my fellow man.

War is an extension of economics and diplomacy through other means.

Economics and diplomacy are methods of securing resources used by humans.

Securing resources is the one necessary behavior for all living things.

War = Life
