I hope I didn't offend him, but I felt it necessary to post the MSDS for unleaded regular gasoline as a comparison to the Corexit material safety data sheet. There are so many things we use every day which are extremely dangerous, and we ignore them even when massive quantities are released into the environment. Case in point: California's SCAQMD choosing to allow methyl tertiary butyl ether as a smog-reduction additive in spite of its toxicity, and what happened when it got into the water supplies.

Due to their escapades, the real #1 spot on my Maroon List will forever belong to the South Coast Air Quality Management District. It's one of the ultimate Post Hoc, Ergo Propter Hoc* government agencies.

*'This, because of this', always in a positive manner; i.e. "we made some rules, the smog lessened, therefore our rules fixed it."

i see Vulcan

one thing i heard about CRC was that it was a carcinogen,i havnt checked it out myself...dont even know if there is a MSDS on it...but there must be..i use it to clean my hands when i get synthetic gear grease on them...real sticky and extremely hard to clean off...forget your clothes, stained for life..
BP are still bastards though...the rumour is the well isnt holding, and quite possibly methane gas clouds will be released from the gushing area and envelop shoreline habitual areas causing extreme harm..this information comes from an industry expert..
so anyway...maybe mael is just on vacation ,or joined saved the whales legends like a superhero..who knows !

Mael is a hard one to totally offend, that is if One has an open mind. I suspect he is out gathering dandelions and other weeds to make his morning "coffee" and learn what is edible.

If he happens by, on a rainy day, I'd like to suggest clover flower tea. It's surprisingly good with a little raw honey and lemon squeezed in. 😀

I heard he went off half-cocked down to battle forum and got seriously Bermuda Triangle lost down there.
I've asked rath to watch for him when he starts his time down there so maybe he'll surface eventually.
