When I was a kid, you were a boy OR a girl.  Not both.  Not neither.  We were either fat, and should lose weight, or we were thin.  Then I found out about gays.  Heck, I was boy crazy since two.  So then you have us straights and those weirdos.  Fine, you do your thing, I'll do mine.  Don't hurt anyone.

Now, the world seems so crazy!

People are telling me about this whole LGBYT...XMNOPZQ...I thought QWERTY was hard to learn.  LOL.  I guess, as I'm told, one of those letters stands for an American Indian who feels they're both male and female.  Huh???  Is that like the chick that was white and "identified" with blacks to get a bloody scholarship?  Because she wasn't smart enough to do it on her own?  What if I was stupid enough to "identify" with a hawk and jumped off a building thinking I could fly?  I would deserve a Darwin award right then and there.

There was a Canadian news story about a guy, yes, I believe he was born that way.  Who wanted to get a third gender on driver licenses.  The third option was an 'X'.  Canada said no, I believe Oregon said yes (yes those people who don't know how to pump their own gas).  Sorry, very rarely are people born with both organs.  Getting any type of artificial implants does not make you the other gender.  For the majority of us (that isn't a bad word) we either have an inny or an outy.  Deal with it, both have their advantages.

Sorry for the long rant.  OK, I'm not.  I'm just so tired of people saying they're not their own gender.  It's odd to me.  I LIKE being a girl, a lady, a woman, a female.  I embrace what I am and who I was born.  What is wrong with these people?

This is a subject with no end to it, as it has become a hot topic in politics, and liberal vs conservative philosophies. It was been one of those tools to attack religions and believes about the bible and what is perceived as Gods word and sins.  Liberals sum it us as religions teaching hate, and conservatives have strong beliefs of the boundaries of normal and abnormal behavior. What is believed to be natural, and what God has said NO to.

We have mandated laws at least in California laws, to teach little children about alternative lifestyles, further confusing parents teachings about what they guide children around. There is no longer right and wrong, everything has grey areas, and philosophical spins on things. KIds are confused enough in this world, one side trying to guide them into normal gender feelings and life, and the government on the other side, telling them the opposite. I hear stories, "I knew when I was 5, I was another gender",  is just preposterous.  The classic lawsuits from little children on these issues, was about equal to 2 atheist parents forcing a lawsuit against the cub scouts over God and the scout oath.  When they win the world must cowtow to them.

All just another liberal thinking tool to push religion out of our society until we become a totally Godless one, where nothing is a sin, nothing is wrong with violating and tweeking the 10 commandments, until they become 9,8,or7, better yet not at all. Seems like half the world lies and steals, get rid of that commandment. If you call adultery simply finding love, that one is obsolete too.  Plus dumping adultery commandments covers other seedy behavior, and everyone is doing it anyways.

Conservatives see the bible and religion as guidance to what is right, liberals see the bible and religion as an obstacle that makes them feel back about themselves, so better to get rid of that than to change my ways.  Liberals use the government to paint a picture of oppression and discrimination, playing the victim card to enact new laws that only oppress conservatives. What a dilemma.  Painting a picture of some illusion instead of reality is liberal thinking.

As for gender and gender reassignment.  I worked with a man who did this, and his story was very sad, the affect on his 2 daughters, the legal hoops my company had to do for this person, and what we had to put up with was ridiculous. They do not really want to look into the real tragic ends of doing this, the illusion is only about their pitfalls, and not who they affect all around them.

A friend and I talk/joke about how stupid this all is.  He thinks that its the chemicals in food and water may be messing with people's minds.  In my own research on "healthy" diets, the vegan diet is very bad.  They don't get vitamin B-12 naturally and may not be supplementing correctly.  B-12 is very important for brain function.  So I joke that vegans get stupid because of it, lol.  Plus, I think this is a key, vegans tend to supplement with too much soy.  The problem with unfermented soy like tofu is it has something that mimics estrogen.  For women, that can cause breast cancer.  For men, it makes them more effeminate and literally messes with their brain.  The soy thing goes for vegetarians too.

My friend has told me about people who have gotten sex changes back to their original sex and regret ever doing it.

I worked at one tech company years ago with what seemed like an unusually large amount of people like this.  Some pre-op, some post-op.  I had a male boss with large breasts.  Kinda weird, but he was really nice.  What was really weird for me was when this 6'6" "woman" (it was obvious she was born a boy) talked to me about what it was like being a little girl.  She was responding to something or other I had said.  At that point, I couldn't say what I was thinking (you were obviously never a little girl).  So I just shut up...I hope my thought didn't react in my face.  And of course a group of them invited me to go to Seattle's gay parade.  I declined as politely as I know how.  I don't want to see 1/2 naked men in lingerie.  I've only seen pictures, but I don't want to see something that...that...gross.

If I had kids, I would home school.  No other option now adays.

Home schooling is another subject in itself. IMHO it doesn't work too well in terms of really learning, and way too much temptations to not be regimented to the school part vs. home part. School is regimented with  school periods, lunch and nutrition breaks, disciplined in schedules, that is scheduled from opening bell.  At home I'm sure 8am turns into 8:30 or 9, the day would just be sloppy, and it all depends on Moms and Dads education, skills teaching, and motivation. They go to school, they do it on time, and they have a schedule. Other missing thing is interaction with other kids growing up, making friends, problems, fitting in, the experience of school.

We can not hid our kids in a closet, even though we would like to, they have to experience the world, and part of that is schooling.

I have no idea what a parent has to show the state to be able to home school, being a good parent does not compute to teaching the ABCs.

Years ago I talked with a lady who was a home schooler.  I had some of the same doubts you do.  She said that there are organized cooperatives of individual families.  If one person say, taught ballet and your daughter wanted to learn, she'd go there.  If another person excelled in English, the kids would go there.  And so on.  For sports, your kids could still take any sport they wanted at their local school and/or through the parks system.

Schedules are still necessary.  Kids still interact with other home schoolers.

I've read that home schooled kids do better on standard tests.  They interact better with adults.  They don't see adults as disciplinarians, but as real mentors.  The curriculum can be centered around the kids interests.  Kids can go at their own pace so they're not held up and bored by stupid kids in their class.  One of my biggest frustrations in school.

Boys tend to be kinetic learners, that's why they're fidgety in class.  When parents understand their kids, this isn't a problem.  It is only a problem in our modern schools.  They're set up for girls to excel, not boys.  When boys are moving around, they learn better.  It doesn't mean they're not listening.  It just means they're listening and learning the concepts better when they move.  One reason to keep boys and girls separate in private schools.

Now, with internet based schools, it seems it may be easier.  I agree that it depends on the parents.  But, doesn't everything?

Hi Nesaie.  Laugh

Last I heard, there were 31 officially recognized genders.

Oh, and the recently added "P" in the LGBT acronym?  Don't let anyone fool ya.  It represents pedophiles.  Pedophiles are people too you know.  Wink
