I've got a simple question about this incident in Florida. Do these " OFFICERS " Look like typical Cops to you?

Image Enlarger

How about these guys? Take a close look before you from an opinion! The word officer is beginning to stick out like a sore thumb. To me anyway---maybe I'm juts seeing things! 😕 Things that don;t exist!

Image Enlarger

I wonder what these guys claim as a day job? Undercover's who need the generic POLICE VEST as a Marker ID.! 😉 Something just doesn't look quite right ot me---Not that it matters--but why not GO AHEAD and say that some Major cities are branching out into the world of Private Contractors to help--" KEEP THE PEACE "

* Man, 23, opened fire as he was served with murder arrest warrant
* He was also shot dead in gun battle

A female police officer was killed along with a male colleague in in deadly shoot-out today in a crime-ridden suburb of Miami.

Single mother Amanda Haworth, 44, became the first woman officer ever killed in the line of duty in the city.

It was also the first time in decades that two officers were gunned down in a single incident.

The fugitive also died as he tried to escape after police tried serve a murder arrest warrant in Liberty City, Florida. A third officer was injured, but his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.

Here is ( more than likely ) the only true cop pictured and HE is a US Marshall--which means this guy ( the shooter ) was a fugitive from justice---WTF is going on here? Who was this 23 year old?

Why so freaking grainy as compared to the other PHOTO OPS?????????????????

I'm speculating here, but based on the photos it seems to me that the PTB are introducing a different kind of Police Force to the public.

Suspected murderer Johnny Simms, 23, opened fire after being targeted for a slaying last October. He was killed in the gun battle, but another man was taken into custody.

Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Alvarez said Officer Castillo had been shot once and died at the scene. Officer Haworth, who was shot several times, was taken to a hospital and later died.

'This unit is very well-trained, very well-armed, and highly protects itself,' said the mayor, himself a former police officer.

'So they know what they're doing. It was just a tragic incident that we see here too often in Miami-Dade, of a violent suspect who could care less.'

Barry Golden, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service in South Florida, said the officers were working with a Marshals fugitive task force. The task force works to arrest people wanted for crimes from all over the country.

Working with the task force!!! Really!

The shooter:

What a terrible incident-How was this even possible?

I would agree something is terribly wrong with the picture.

Watch this real life gun battle: Inside a Detroit Police station:

The Cameras are split: The shooter gets hit just prior to moving to his right to take aim behind the desk: Yes he's been hit--guarantee it. He aims and then goes to move back to the right ( which is his left ) he collapses DOA.

Pretty real--pretty wild. The First officer shot is very very lucky to be alive which tells me the shooter used some POS Shot--4 shot or a slug would have been terrible, as if anything else isn't bad enough---but a slug is nasty stuff.

Cole only you could turn: "two officers shot to death" into "watch out for the civilian police!"

All cops are civilians. Who cares if they contract or not, what's the difference? They're still civvies who have jobs in law enforcement.

"George Bush says he speaks to god every day, and christians love him for it. If George Bush said he spoke to god through his hair dryer, they would think he was mad. I fail to see how the addition of a hair dryer makes it any more absurd."

Do you carry a weapon for a living?

I'm not turning it into anything---Soldiers are not Gods by the way, not in a literal sense anyway! 😉

The new Wild West: The former Para facing death penalty for killing two fellow mercenaries chasing riches in Iraq

By Sue Reid

Could they be coming to a town near you! No worries Tiara has you covered. 🙄

The British former paratrooper is desperate to come home. But for the moment that seems highly unlikely as he waits in Karabat Maryam police station in the Iraqi capital to find out if he will hang for murder.

Fitzsimons, 30, is a British mercenary, accused, after a whisky-fuelled fight near Saddam Hussein’s former palace in Baghdad’s heavily fortified Green Zone, of shooting dead two of his workmates, a former British Royal Marine and an Australian ex-airman, both 37 and fathers.

It is claimed Fitzsimons killed them with the Glock pistol he carried everywhere in Iraq. Last week, he stood in a wooden dock before three judges at the Baghdad criminal court, pleading to be spared the death sentence and claiming he acted in self-defence

Go ahead Tiara--make my day, as only you can!

Image Enlarger
Victim: Paul McGuigan was shot dead by Fitzsimons, with Paul's fiancée Nicci Prestage believing it was an execution

Image Enlarger
Brutal: Darren Hoare, left, was shot in the temple at close range by former Para Danny Fitzsimons

READ>>>

We received two separate medical documents which certified he was fit to work in Iraq. It has subsequently come to light that the most recent of those documents was forged, and we have reason to believe it was forged by Mr Fitzsimons.’

Thousands of ex-soldiers are hired by private security firms to work in Wild West conflict zones. They guard people such as VIPs, businessmen, buildings and convoys.

Lured by tax-free pay, they invariably carry guns without the strict ‘sign in and sign out’ operational rules of the Army.

As Fitzsimons told me from his cell: ‘We were “guns for hire”. I had a Glock with me all the time. I was issued with one, along with an M4 rifle, when I arrived in Iraq that August. There were ex-soldiers with worse mental problems than me who would go wild at the drop of a hat. They also had guns given to them by private security firms and kept them in the compound rooms. They were never without them, even when they were drinking hard. Neither was I.’

Enough said:

Where do soldiers or paramilitary operators come in?

You said these guys where private contractors, civvies. They're cops. Of course they're civvies.
ERT teams are nothing new, and they're a pretty important part of law enforcement. Without ERT's what happens when 4 dudes with ballistic vests and RPKs and AK47s show up at a bank?

Well I guess they get away don't they? I know if I'm a cop with my little glock 9mm loaded with hollow point ammunition facing automatic weapons I'm certainly not going to be a hero.

I'm trying to understand your argument, you're saying that your problem is with cops who carry assault rifles or sub machine guns? Or is it just with cops who have served their country? Or both?

Cole imagines a lot of things that arn't, like this picture of the cops. If they learned anything from the infamous North Hollywood shoot out, it was that the cops had been totally out matched with weapons. Now that they have learned from that, people like Cole see something wrong with it. All I need to hear is one word to make me glad the the cops are prepared from any level of unrest. Egypt is the word. Swat teams and riot teams, are equiped now, and they were not when 2 shooters with automatic weapons and protective gear, created something the LAPD learned a hard lesson over.

Fair enough, my apologies for NOT being clear in a simple way.

Private contractors with EX MILITARY Contracts are showing up in LE in vast numbers. I've a friend who's worked with some RECENTLY!

Most generally they make PISS POOR CIVILIAN COPS/SECURITY because they USUALLY ARE WOUND WAY WAY TOO TIGHT!

Does this make any sense to you? How about you Greeney? You comfortable with "SHOOT FIRST and ask questions later " LAW ENFORCEMENT????????

You guys are masters at spinning things, MAYBE it really is because you lack the ability to understand what's been written. I wish I knew.

As for the North Hollywood shoot out----Yeah you got it--outgunned. So tell me---What am I advocating here Greeney? Love to see you explain it in detail.

Tiara---Cops don't carry 9 mm---Yes some agencies had a contract for such but have since switched to the .40's Some call it the perfect combination of capacity and power--personally I tend to agree! 😉 To my knowledge every single LE Member here locally carry the Glock 22 as their official service weapon.

Pretty simple---Cops don't need .223's and full riot gear to be effect in the field, and should they happen upon a circumstance that calls for such, then they have protocol for those situations. You know the ones that come around once every decade or so. Most of the time--3-4 guys with Rimington tactical pumps are all that's needed.

SWAT Sharp shooters with .308's---is overkill x's 10. Something tells me someone watches too much TV. Laugh
