Very strange, that whole thing. It took me a load of time to bring myself to view it, after a few seconds I was tempted to turn it off. Hillbillies rub me the wrong way, always have, only in this case I think the shooter was play acting.

Now I say this for a few reasons, mostly because of the simple fact that he had to have known where his idea was more than likely going to end up. It was only after the fact that he seemed to have claimed to understand the scope of the whole ordeal. Laugh Laugh

Which brings me to the " RIGHT ON CUE " Jokes he fired off in regard to the visit by the Police as well as the Child Protective Services.........In the beginning not so sharp, nervous, stumbles for words.......yet in the end full of the not so typical knowledge of the protocol in regard to " POLITICALLY CORRECT COMMUNITY SERVICE " Laugh Laugh Most important that provided by LE and the Save the Children's foundation Government run protective services folks.

I think he said " He shouldn't have been smoking the cigarette " " His wife would rather he quit " and that " He shouldn't have said that his daughter needed to get off her lazy ass "........ Laugh Laugh Laugh But seriously....it's the jokes that he claims to have fired off about the visit, during the visit, and after the visit that give me pause...a great deal of pause.

Careful what you tack up on youtube unless you want a visit from the man.

Where or where can I get me one of them there hats? 😛

Cole

PS. Maybe his comment " Oh--these are exploding hollow point bullets " was the trigger that got the Cops attention. Laugh 😕 ...Knowledge is King indeed!! 😉

I only saw some of that story on the news..
I kinda feel, by shooting up his daughter's laptop, he was kind of proving her point that her parents were aholes
I mean what other extreme stuff does he do if he thought that was okay to do and to share with the world..what is the stuff he does that he does not share with the world.
there are plenty of horrible parents out there..that hide it well
people assume the daughter was being a brat..maybe she was calling it how it is
I know of some people that use their kids like slaves..scrub clean..cook..clean..do the lawn clean..then mom and dad get out the white gloves..some people have a very sadistic streak in them and get weird with power issues
"kiderella" comes to mind

B,

It pleases me to see your line of thought in regard to this stunt.........is it possible that his demeanor may have been the catalyst for the visit by the so called authorities? Maybe.............who really knows. My point is a simple one, it just doesn't pass the smell test, something is fishy about it.

Anyway.............it seems as if Big Sisters " See something say something " bullshit is indeed alive and well..........

I've always been amazed at the things that agencies have been interested in as opposed to those that they choose to turn a blind eye to. More people need to make themselves ( MORE ) aware of this oh so obvious course of business which at the end of the day is nothing more than, Business as usual! 😉

shooting the laptop was a bit dramatic. however, I believe he's well within his parental rights confiscating their daughters lap top. if she's ' out of control '
deliberately disrespectful , and insubordanate . ( using drugs) not keeping up w/ studies)

parents can be a friend but they need to parent as well. grounding
would be an choice too. did she get an allowance ? poor baby... ( spoiled kid.)
had to be asked to make her bed and clean up after herself ?

social services rolled because they were politically motivated . teachers are an first line of defense for picking up abuse. unless they have an history we don't know about. which may be the case here. I think the agencies were just pading their overtime and justifying their existence.

if social services have this much time on their hands it's no wonder , nothing is left over for homeless, parent less children whom sleep on the streets and go to bed hungry every night. hollow points are illegal ?

Another great line of thought none of which I can argue against, makes a lot of good sense to me.

I'm just not a real big fan of Big Sis or big Bro...............I've enough to keep me busy without having to worry about someone saying something in regard to something they THINK they saw...

Hollow points are legal in my local area...............180 gr brass are my rounds of choice.

I can understand why he did it. The kid should have lost her laptop and a lot of privileges. He wasn't real bright though. He did explain to his daughter in the video just how much he spent on that laptop. If he had any sense, he would have sold it instead of shooting it. Then made her get a job to buy herself a new one if she wanted it. Parents need to crack down on unruly kids. They will never learn if they aren't shown discipline.

I wonder if his stunts will work or backfire.

Perhaps he has been given a chance to learn and grow?
To take a good look at himself? From the universe?
It is up to him, whether he wishes to learn and grow, or not.
People are not meant to be slaves.

He can't go anywhere now without people looking at him like a freak. I bet he ends up shooting himself in the head with that same gun before it's all over with. He doesn't seem stable enough to survive after all the publicity...you can just tell by the way he stumbles over his words. Dude is cracked.

Or even worse -- his daughter has some kind of really bad retaliation in store. She was basically humiliated in front of the entire world -- the world in which she likes to display her frustrations to.

Nothing good can come out of this.

He should have done the simple thing and just grounded her and taken away her laptop for a while. That would have been the sensible thing to do.

I don't believe what I believe because it's what I desire to believe. I believe what I believe because it's what science, evidence, and logic causes me to believe.
