AUSTRALIANS will pay tribute to Dame Elisabeth Murdoch at a state memorial service at St Paul's Cathedral in Melbourne at 11am today.
The memory of Dame Elisabeth Murdoch will be honoured at St Paul's Catholic Cathedral today.
Dame Elisabeth Murdoch passed away earlier this month at the age of 103.
The ceremony will commence at 11:00am, with the public able to watch the broadcast of the service nearby at Federation Square.
Victoria Police advise road closures and restricted pedestrian access will be in place from 9:30am to 2:00pm today. Swanston Street will be closed to traffic, with traffic control points at Flinders Lane for south-bound traffic and at St Kilda Road and Southbank Boulevard for north-bound traffic.
Flinders Street traffic will be stopped at Russell Street Extension for west-bound vehicles and at Queen Street for vehicles intending to travel east.
The matriarch of News corporation & the Murdoch empire celebrated philanthropist & widow of Sir Keith Arthur Murdoch, passed away in her Langwarrin home on 5th December.
