๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† Ugg............from the Male perspective I'd suggest a pass on those things, kill the urge. I'm a gear nut......not much for old fads, I try to be more practical with my attire, even foot ware.

AS a matter of fact I'm in the market for some news boots myself............been looking, reading, and thinking Bean Boots for over a month now. I've yet to pull the trigger. Looked at some Sorel's, I like those a bit more than the Bean but the Bean, LL Bean that is, offers great service. I've failed to find even one person anywhere who's had a bad LL BEAN service issue......I pay extra for that every single time.

I'm hung up on the quality as well as the durability aspect of the Boot's. I'm afraid that the Beans' are like everything else these days, low quality due to cost cutting.

Anyway I need to start a Product quality thread.........I'll be as objective as possible. ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†

FYI. I see lot's of women wearing UGG's round these parts.............I just hope that they never get em wet. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Most are ruined as a result. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm probably the last person to ask about clothing and fashions, but I buy a lot of things from the Deluth Trading Company. Never bought footwear from them but, I've bought a lot of things likes shirts, jackets, shorts, and their longtail teeshirts are really great. Large sizes are cut real full. I also buy cloths from the Bass Pro Shop, never footwear yet, but they have a huge seleletion. Both stores are very good to deal with. We get the LL Bean catalogs all the time, just havn;t bought much from them, but they seem like a terrific store. Becasue of my surgury we bought everything online for Christmas, and seems like most these stores are doing very well with service. I had no problem with any store we delt with, and we got everything right on time.

I think a product or store thread is a excellent idea Cole. The message board should have a lot more user friendly and real things we can discuss to help each other.

P L E A S E .........

The Australian Ugg boot is timeless.

Uggs have been around for 100 years plus an will be around for a long time to come.

as for getting them wet ..... there ugg boots, Their sheep skin, boots.

Their good for the cold, great for the heat. we use em in the wet an the dry.

surfers use em to keep their wet feet cool after they come back out of the surf.

I'm real picky when it comes to certain clothing. Shirts, underwear, pants.

But for some reason, I've never cared much what shoes I wear. If they're cheap and relatively durable, I'll buy 'em. I don't even care much if they aren't all that comfortable. I just take 'em off when I get home.

My favorite shoe is the burgundy penny loafer. You can dress 'em up, or wear 'em with jeans. I like the utilitarian aspect and they look good. Plus they are easy to siip on and off. My favorite brand is Florsheim but I'm sure there's much better out there.

Best black loafers I ever wore, were some Italian brand, snake skin. I wore 'em maybe twice before the beagles got hold of 'em and that was it. That was the last pair I spent over a hundred bucks on.

I have odd feet. A very high arch, size 9, and super wide, like triple E or more. But the good thing is, my feet never hurt. I've just always been lucky that way. (for all you astrology buffs out there, my Pa always said it's because I'm a Pisces. Pisces is the sign that rules the feet.)

I don't even know what Uggs are... I guess I'll google it.

Ok bionic.

I will ALLOW you to purchase some Uggs. But these are my choices for you and you have to pick one. Most of the rest I looked at are just downright ugly.

Ugg Classic Tall Pink

I know you're not very dainty, but, the pink boots work on you. You may not desire to look "cute," but that's your problem. The rest of us appreciate it. So make it happen!

The only problem I have with Uggs is the price.
If you can afford it, go for it. They're comfy as hell!

I have Ugglike boots in many styles, fyi..they are so fricken comfortable
Yet..no actual UGGS..the most expensive I bought were Lavender Bear Claws (some version of Uggs)
I am practically a miser..unless it's something I REALLY want..then I will pay.
I have this understanding that the people that sell us things use pecking order BS to make us pay more for things than we need to. They use our ego's, it MUST have the right label, BS. To play us. I refuse to play. My ego is free like that. Unless it's something I MUST have.

also..
um..Cole..you are a brat (I have to put up with this and a certain m&m candy person just going on, and on about it..dammit..as if you guys never got that wasted)
Laugh
I won't go into the story, but since new years, my poor fricken (NEW) car..well there will be much febreeze in my car's future..such it is to be a piratelike personality , like me

Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh I hear ya, just be happy I turned over that new leaf as of 12:01 01-01-12....... Laugh

Wear em with a mini, or tight jeans with the jeans tucked into the top on the boots......... ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Just kidding........hey if the shoe fits, I mean boot........and I agree with Mrs Humper.......for the money...........everything is for the monies these days.......but like she says.............comfort goes a long long way when it comes to price..........so buy or decide accordingly..might not be too expensive if the foot ware does the trick..............who cares what they really look like as long as they fit and feel good on the wheels.!!?

Regardless of the down under comments.................I'd not be in a real hurry to get em wet....................nothing worse than wet feet when out on patrol. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I've wore out too many high end golf shoes ( within a year ) to have a reasonable hold on getting anything man made wet....there's wet feet, then there's wet feet.
