If 2020 is really feasible, then Newt is aware of whatever has already been in place to make it happen by that date. And if so, it also means that no matter who is pres., it will happen.

Just realize that this is from a man who resigned from congress in shame only to reappear just a few years later thinking that he can somehow win election as President of the United States. This would/should, lead anyone to question his sanity which in turn would make such an asinine statement much easier to understand!

Has anyone meditated on the biblical implications of colonized space? if Armageddon happens on Earth, what of the people on the Moon or Mars, or even a space station?

Tough questions no believer could answer definitively.

Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a spirit vastly superior to that of man. - Albert Einstein

It's likely that any moon base would be linked to earth based computer systems for all their operations. If the earth based systems failed, the moon would probably not be far behind it.

Of course, I would like to see a moon base. We could move D.C. and all the politicians there. 😈

What is this Wonka, some kind of funhouse?
Why? Are you having fun?
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.
