I'm not sure what makes me more angry. The country is trillions in debt, and if it was your home, the last thing you would be doing is a complete living room makeover and remodeling. I can not imagine the cost redoing the oval office, that was probably nicer than a room at the Ritz already. Who would spend this kind of money, at a time like this. They symbolic nature of it, rates right up with the outrageous vacations to Spain, Florida, and Martha's Vineyard, all back to back. Out of touch with how everyone else is coping with a bad economy.

The ultimate in stupidy, is the above picture of the renovation,(1 of 15 released in 2009) with the President and a Governor moving in a couch, wearing a suit. How stupid to they think we are, that the President of the United States, is going to move couches from a delivery truck into his office? 🙄 This is dumber than dumb. It is as stupid as thinking the Queen, is going to grab a mop, and bucket of spic and span, and clean the bathrooms, wearing her crown, on a saturday morning. Laugh

Who would have thunk it. Finally we get an African American as President, and you would expect a charismatic, grass roots man of the people, poised to change the usual government ways forever.

Instead we end up with 2 of the most arrogant, out of touch, silver spoon SNOBS the country has ever seen.

Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a spirit vastly superior to that of man. - Albert Einstein
