God bless Budweiser

This is an email I received today. I love it. More Americans should put their foot down like this.

The Budweiser Story

(not a joke)

cid:1.1378900336@web80011.mail.sp1.yahoo.com

This is TRUE!

How Budweiser handled those who laughed at those

who died on the 11th of September,
2001...

Thought you might like to know what happened
in a little town north of Bakersfield , California

After you finish reading this,
please forward this story on to others

so that our nation and people around the world

will know about those who laughed

when they found out about the tragic events
in New York , Pennsylvania , and the Pentagon.

On September 11th,

A Budweiser employee was making a delivery
to a convenience store in a California town
named McFarland..

He knew of the tragedy that had occurred
in New York when he entered the business

to find the two Arabs, who owned the business, whooping and hollering to show their approval
and support of this treacherous attack.

The Budweiser employee went to his truck,
called his boss and told him
of the very upsetting event!

He didn't feel he could be in that store with those
horrible people. His boss asked him,
'Do you think you could go in there long enough
to pull every Budweiser product and item
our beverage company sells there?
We'll never deliver to them again.'

The employee walked in,
proceeded to pull every single product his
beverage company provided and left
with an incredible grin on his face.

He told them never to bother to call for
a delivery again.

Budweiser happens to be the beer of choice
for that community.

Just letting you know how Kern County
handled this situation. And Now

The Rest Of The Story:

It seems that the Bud driver and the Pepsi man
are neighbors. Bud called Pepsi and told him.
Pepsi called his boss who told him to
pull all Pepsi products as well!!!
That would include Frito Lay, etc.

Furthermore, word spread and
all vendors followed suit! At last report, on June 26, 2009,
Fareed Katib closed the store and filed bankruptcy!

Of course, that incident never happened. It is a bunch of anti-Arab drivel that occurred days after 9/11; so called incidents involving celebrating Arabs which, according to FBI reports, had no validity at all, but the impact on small businesses have been tremendous. The Budweiser story is a false, contrived, and disturbing narrative of misguided nationalism gone array.

If the story is false, then they went bankrupt due to the economy and most likly high prices, which have nothing to do with an 8 year old email, Budweiser or Pepsi. There are more bankrupt business now than ever, so don;t even try blaming some afront to middle eastern people as the cause. All it takes is a new Costco or Walmart in the area, and small business end up out of business becasue they can't compete with prices. If this horrible email killed them, it would have occured in 2002, not 2009.

You're coming to speedy conclusions. First of all, I did not mention that this particular e-mail had a detrimental effect on Arab owned business. Secondly, businesses fail with or without recession. In-fact, 90% of all businesses that start, fail within 1 year or less. Lastly, there were groups that did post the names of businesses with Arab owners as a means to "warn" people not to shop there since...you know...those Arabs were responsible for 9/11 🙄 This e-mail, instead, is a crystallization of anti-Arab sentiment that has been passed off as true even when it is not. Unfortunately, however, it also reveals the propensity of some people (even here) to celebrate the forced starvation of families, no matter the race, creed, or nationality.

Speedy conclusions--you responded to discredit Halfabo within 17 minutes. Laugh

Secondly, maybe you shouldn't be so speedy to accept any anti-american story without question.

I was at the Brisbane Airport in the domestic section's Carpark awaiting a friend from Adelaide when new of the Attack happened n 9-11.. I saw a number of Cab Drivers celebrating.. giving each other high fives, laughing, and running around like they just won the lotto and patting each other on the back.

It made me sick to the pit of my stomach.

Had I been armed I with my Stire I probably would have unloaded on them several times over.

I don't know about the credibility of the email or even if the Middle Easterners in America celebrated so openly but I am sure there were some that did because I am aware of reports by the media here and friends and friends of friends it happened in other places in Australia.

Any enough of this topic for me .. I don't like to discuss 9-11..So I now opt out .. sorry

Why would a radical Muslim fundamentalist care (or any Muslim, for that matter) if ANYONE'S store anywhere was closed for a reason related to their selling alcohol?

I predict the 5 Israeli "movers" seen celebrating on 9/11 are sipping on a can of Bud right now, laughing at you...
