Way way too early for this stuff, and the energy bill proves it. 😯 😮 🙁

3-4 inches of snow and howling winds, chills in the minus 10-15 range and it's only early December. Bring it on I sez, bring it.

Lot's of fellow Hoosiers trapped in their cars way up North in the snow belt regions of the state--damn fools---been warned of the event all prior week and they still think they are invincible. Laugh Laugh Hope no one looses any fingers or toes to the frost bite. 😯

I think they need to jail this lot--all of em--give em something to ponder. Maybe next time they will heed the warnings---it's always someone, always a few idiots in every crowd.

I heard over 100 vehicles stuck in a 10 mile stretch, rescue workers helpless due to the weather, snow plows useless due to the drifts. Insane.

You want to incarcerate people who get stranded in snow drifts Cole?
That seems crazy even for you.

I thought you were against the loss of freedom.
You are now proposing a restriction on travel when authorities dertermine such loss of freedom is warrented for the greater good.

Not that I am against the idea, just that it seems to run counter to the political views you have expressed in the past.

It was shitty here a couple weeks ago. I work outside a lot, and I can't remember how cold it was... Not too bad, barely below zero, like -4 or -6 or something. BUT there was brutal wind, non-stop. It'd gust up and blow snow down into my thermals and melt. It didn't even feel like I had a balaclava on, and at the end of the day I had wind burn on my face and hands. But then it got better, the next few days where colder but so much more bearable as they weren't windy.

Super cold here too. Easily like, 56 degrees.

I mean, I actually have to wear a JACKET! Ridiculous. Plus, I can't even surf without a wetsuit. This madness is without end!

The winter fog is always nice though.

You've probably never even seen a balaclava except when the bad guys wear them in movies..

I own a balaclava, you chucklehead.

It was for a Halloween costume, but still...

You're lucky WZ. It's been dropping here to the low and mid 40s. Last night it was 29F! And this is Miami!

Right now its 39F and the wind chill factor makes it worse 😐

btw I'm going to San Diego for the summer, how is it over there?

I feel like you've either asked me this before, or I had a dream about answering this question like... three months ago.

I thought you were against the loss of freedom.

So just how accurate am I when I say: There's an idiot in every crowd? Thanks for proving the point.

One man's freedom should never endanger another, it's all relative of course, bet you want to argue about that as well. You're a real piece of work.

An Idiot ( he was drunk of course ) Froze to death after slipping, falling, and passing out as he searched for his house--happen just a bit North of here---on the same night these clowns got stuck in their cars. He wasn't well equipped, mentally, physically, or with proper cold weather gear--so he's dead---Something the MEDIA will never print are the complaints from the pissed off rescue personnel charged with getting the fools out of the snow.

Obviously some were travelers---who are/were ignorant of the area, they should receive a pass--but the overwhelming majority of the people were/are LOCALS-All warned, all knew well in advance, yet decide to BRAVE IT--

Anyway the average high temps in this area are going on their third straight week of 10-15 degrees BELOW Normal. The long range doesn't show it getting out of the low 30's for highs for another full week---so sooner or later another good snowstorm is more likely than not. Just a matter of time---The kids love it.

I've been to where these people got themselves stranded a few times before, it's flat, open country and is perfect for huge drifts given the lake effect snow. Three to four inches of snow an hour isn't all that uncommon, and in 30 MPH Winds and single digit temps and you've got serious issues if driving an ill equipped vehicle. Just sayin!
