Any children of the '80s read the 'Berenstein Bears' books as kids? Perhaps being born in the late 80s, viewing the cartoon on television?
Well, now the books are all sold and listed as the "BerenSTAIN Bears". Even the wikipedia article redirects users who type Berenstein to Berenstain.
The wikipedia article also does not state a reason as to why the name change, it even lists the creators as "Berenstain".
I originally came upon this on some guys YouTube channel, he thinks its some conspiracy/the Matrix-type stuff, I personally think they changed the name to something kids would pronounce easier.
P.S. We're not crazy, lol, many others remember them as 'the Berenstein Bears'.
Anybody able to shed some light on this?
