Proof that the "Star Child Skull" was an Alien

                                                                W.O. Belfield, Jr.

                                            Optidose-Orthomolecular Nutritional Advocate

The Biblical phrase “many are called but few are chosen” (in Matthew 22:14) applied to Lloyd Pye when he took on the Herculean task of coordinating the analysis of the Starchild Skull.  There were very few people who had the determination like Pye to pursue such an endeavor.  Lloyd Pye had a firm belief that the scientific process would unlock the secrets of the Star Child Skull. He spent well over 10 years using the accepted scientific protocols and anxiously waiting for new processes to be developed to prove that the Starchild Skull was and Extra-terrestrial biological entity (EBE). Orthomolecular medicine has proven that the "Star Child Skull" was an EBE.

The fascinating aspect about this 900 year old skull that was located 100 miles Southwest of Chihuahua, Mexico known as the “Copper Canyon,” is its physical characteristics. During the initial stages of the research a small sample of the skull was needed for DNA analysis. It was soon discovered that the physical characteristics of the skull were extraordinary and eventually would be of great interest to Orthomolecular medicine. This is what was discovered:

  • The skull bone is half as thick (or less) than normal human bone, it weighs half as much, yet, amazingly, it is two to three times as durable!
  • On five occasions (observations of the bone being cut by other people), it was apparently obvious that there was difficulty when cutting the skull.
  • When cutting the Starchild’s skull for the first time using a small hand saw, It became quite apparent that in order to make a cut 1 inch into the Starchild’s bone , It required around 200 strokes of the blade.
  • To cut 1.25 inches of the human bone took 50 strokes. This demonstrates how amazingly hard the Starchild’s bone is.
  • A Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) analysis revealed that spikes in oxygen and carbon, and reduced calcium and phosphorus, made this skull bone much more like the compacted collagen found in human tooth enamel.
  • The human’s bone looks like alabaster, while the Starchild’s bone is milky due to its extraordinary levels of collagen, which is abundant in animal teeth.
  • Woven into its Starchild bone matrix are various kinds of fibers that are astoundingly durable (to resist the Dremel blade that cut the bone). Whatever these fibers are, they are never found in any other bone on earth.

What is fascinating from an Orthomolecular perspective is the extraordinary high levels of collagen in the bone matrix. When the Starchild was alive it must have been internally synthesizing mega-doses or optimal doses of ascorbic acid in order to maintain the high levels of collagen in its bone matrix. With the mega-dose levels of ascorbic acid being produced this being must have, also, been resistant to diseases. Since humans do not have an active L-gulonolactone oxidase molecule they cannot internally produce ascorbic acid. Humans can only get their supply of ascorbic acid through their diet. According to the late Irwin Stone PhD the amount of ascorbic acid humans can obtain in their diets can never be equal or greater than the amount that would be produced biochemically.

Since 1971 Roger J. Williams PhD (discover of pantothenic acid/B5) has proven with a high degree of certainty that “ascorbic acid is essential for the building of collagen, the most abundant protein built in our bodies and the major component of connective tissue. [Wolbach, S. B.., and Howe, P. R. Ïntercellular substance in experimental scorbutus" Arch. Path., 1:1, 1926] This connective tissue has structural and supportive functions which are indispensable to heart tissues, to blood vessels, --in fact, to all tissues. Collagen is not only the most abundant protein in our bodies, it also occurs in larger amounts than all other proteins put together. It cannot be built without ascorbic acid. No heart or blood vessel or other organ could possibly perform its functions without collagen. No heart or blood vessel can be maintained in healthy condition without ascorbic acid.”

In his book “How To Live Longer and Feel Better” (1986) two-time (unshared) Nobel Laureate Linus Pauling PhD can be quoted as saying “the synthesis of collagen, for which vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is essential, proceeds in the body as one of its major manufacturing enterprises. A person who is dying of scurvy stops making this substance, and his body falls apart -- his joints fail, because he can no longer keep the cartilage and tendons strong, his blood vessels break open, his gums ulcerate and his teeth fall out, his immune system deteriorates, and he dies.

Collagen is a protein, one of the thousands of different kinds of proteins in the human body. Most proteins occur in only small amounts: the various enzymes, for example, are so powerful in their ability to cause specific chemical reactions to take place rapidly that only a gram or two or even a few milligrams may be needed in the body. There are a few exceptions. There is a great amount of hemoglobin in red blood cells. There is even more collagen in the skin, bones, teeth, blood vessels, eye, heart, and, in fact, essentially all parts of the body. Collagen as strong white fibers, stronger than steel wire of the same weight, and as yellow elastic networks (called elastin), usually together with macropolysaccharides, constitutes the connective tissue that holds our bodies together.

Like other proteins, collagen consists of polypeptide chains; the long chains of this fibrous molecule contain about one thousand amino-acid residues, about sixteen thousand atoms. It differs from almost all other proteins in being substantially composed of but two amino acids, glycine and hydroxyproline. Collagen is a kind of supermolecule, however, in its three-dimensional architecture. The polypeptide chains of the two amino acids, alternating with one another and punctuated by the presence of certain other amino acids, are coiled in a left-handed helix. Three of these helical strands are twisted around on another, like strands of a rope, in a right handed superhelix, to compose the complete molecule.

We have come upon the two big reasons why we require for good health so much larger amounts of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) than are present in the plants we use as food. First, there is the bodies’ continuing need for the synthesis of large amounts of collagen for growth and for replacement of the collagen degraded by daily wear and tear.  Second, vitamin C, in the critical reactions that assemble collagen in the tissues, does not serve merely as a catalyst but is destroyed."

It is unfortunate that Lloyd Pye will never be able to see the complete decoding of the Starchild genome which would prove with 100% certainty that the skull belonged to an EBE. To add further proof of the Starchild’s extraterrestrial origins Pye would have been pleased to see that Orthomolecular medicine has shown that the Starchild could not have been human but had to be an Extra-terrestrial biological entity (EBE).
