NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Halloween is going to be a lot of work for pizza delivery boys and girls. According to research by Domino's Pizza, this year's holiday has the potential to be the busiest night of the year for pizza deliveries, since it falls on a Friday night. Domino's alone expects to deliver 1.4 million pies across the U.S., 200,000 more than they delivered on Super Bowl Sunday -- the biggest day for pizza deliveries so far this year.
POTSDAM, Germany -- German voters in southeast Berlin have elected "Dracula" to their local council, just in time for Halloween. The newest member of the council, Ottomar Rodolphe Vlad Dracula Prince Kretzulesco, claims to be a descendant of Vlad the Impaler and represents the liberal Free Democrats.
PARIS -- The French are thumbing their noses at Halloween because it's too Anglo-Saxon for their tastes. One French fast food chain, Flunch, is resisting cobwebs and ghosts by celebrating the Gallic New Year instead with traditional dishes like boar and cabbage, typical foods of 55 BC when the Gauls were in power.
