| My wife and I recently went to Charleston, S.C.
Charleston is a wonderful place. It has plenty of history and intrigue. It also has several thriving businesses offering ghost tours.
A class about ghosts? How could I resist?
The ghost tour naturally took place after dark. For our safety, the tour leader asked us to stick together crossing the streets.
As it turned out, dodging traffic would have been more thrilling than this tour.
We received a lengthy introduction about auras.
Auras are shapes that appear on photos taken at haunted locations. Our leader described several photographic auras taken by previous patrons as they described them to him.
All of these photos still were in the mail. Yet, the mere description convinced our leader of the existence of the supernatural. The rest of us shivered, but only from the cold.
We finally began our walk. It was a rambling journey.
Along the way, our believer would point out windows where ghosts had appeared to him. He was amazed. I sniffed his breath.
In our search for auras, we stumbled into a cemetery to take pictures.
