One of the world's best-known computer hackers has had his new security consulting company's website broken into.
Kevin Mitnick said it's the second time in a week his Defensive Thinking website has been hacked into.
The most recent breach was by a hacker in Texas, who asked Mr Mitnick to hire him as the company's security officer.
In a previous hack, someone calling themselves "BugBear" added a page to Mitnick's corporate website with a message, "Welcome back to freedom, Mr Kevin," and added that "it was fun and easy to break into your box."
He included a photograph of a polar bear with two cubs.
In neither instance did hackers vandalise the company's web pages, and one said in email he didn't do damage out of respect for Mr Mitnick.
Mr Mitnick said he didn't contact the FBI because the break-ins didn't involve any financial loss to his company, which advertises "training and expertise to help you stop information theft."
