2. Paranormal News | UFO Flys Through Lehigh County
It's a sight that's out of this world. A UFO was spotted in Lehigh County and it has become the talk of the town in one community.
"It was right above that large pine tree," Mike Bilski, of Whitehall, said.
It was right outside Bilski's front porch about 100 feet in the air.
"It was just kinda hovering there and spinning," he said. "A silver flying saucer."
But could a UFO really be flying above Whitehall in broad daylight?
"I believe it's possible," Bilski said.
It's possible because of one local man.
"I just woke up one morning and said let's fly the saucer," David Godiska said.
Godiska owns Northampton gallery pianos where inside floats what may be the Lehigh Valley's only UFO.
"Who wouldn't want to have a flying saucer?" Godiska said.
While the 15-foot wide spaceship hasn't actually soared through the solar system, it's been among the biggest stars of Hollywood used as a movie prop in the films "Mars Attacks" and "Men in Black Two."
"I think one of the really neat things about it. This is a high-tech flying saucer specially made, and especially designed," Godiska said.
Godiska bought the Hollywood prop from a private California collector for $10,000.
"People spend thousands on cars, a lot of people spend 80 grand on a Mercedes -- at least this is a flying saucer," Godiska said.
While the piano man has owned it for three years now he only decided to fly it for the first time just before Halloween. But just how he got the prop up in the air remains the biggest mystery. There was no crane, no ropes, it just seemed to fly through the air.
"No, can't tell you -- that's a secret and magicians don't tell secrets," Godiska said.
